This past week a person was attempting to sell Brown's jail ID from the San Bernardino County Jail online for $10,000. The card was created when he passed through the facility when he was being transported across the country in April of last year. Once Brown's attorney learned of the attempted sale, he reportedly contacted San Bernardino Sheriff's Department to investigate. Authorities have reportedly seized the ID card from the person who was trying to sell it, according to the report. Law enforcement sources told the site that they are investigating how the ID card was taken out of police custody and whether a crime was committed. Read the report here.

In an interview with GQ, Diplo talked about life post-that Taylor Swift tweet, which has been full of online land mines. Specifically, Diplo has struggled with having to censor himself on Twitter. "It sucks for me, because now I have to not be as crazy as I am on the internet," he said. "Which totally sucks, because it's not going to be fun anymore." If it seems strange that a grown man who once made a comment as unfiltered as the Taylor Swift one would now feel the need to censor himself, the move actually comes out of fear of Taylor Swift fans' backlash. "But the repercussions are really bad. Like, Taylor Swift fans are really crazy," he continued. "They threatened to murder me and stuff. It's really bizarre, and disgusting. They're the worst people in the world." Diplo's disdain for Swifties doesn't end there. He even went as far as to compare them to Gaga's Little Monsters. "And I'm a pretty big fan. But they're like 'I wish your kids had Down syndrome.' They're so evil," he said. "I dissed Lady Gaga before, and the gays were never even this mean. They're funny. These people are like mean-spirited, evil human beings. I'm not a politician. I shouldn't have to be under the microscope for people like that." Then the interview gets weird. Diplo not only says he knows things about Swift that would cause controversy, but he goes on to say that he's living in fear. "She has like forty million Twitter fans. Forty million! Yeah. It's crazy. I'm a fan though. Her powers--she's big," he said. "She's strong, bro. Taylor Swift is very strategic with her friends and enemies. And I know lots of secrets. I can't divulge, but I know a lot of stuff about her. And she's definitely, there's definitely scary stuff going on. And I'm scared. I'm scared for my life." Strangely that last quote where he says "I'm scared for my life" only appeared in the second iteration of the interview for the magazine's "19 Musicians That Matter" slideshow. It was first replaced with this: "Taylor Swift is very strategic with her friends and enemies," he said. "And I know lots of secrets. I can't divulge, but I know a lot of stuff about her. And I'm scared. I'm scared for my life." Read more here.

The former Oasis star wrote and produced the new album himself. He had this to say about the experience, "It was a major pain in the arse. It's not that I've ever had people telling me what to write or what direction to go in, but managing sessions from one end of the week to the other proved extremely difficult. "I had all these people looking at me and saying: 'right, what are we doing today?' I was making the whole thing up as I went along." Fans can pre-order the album in various formats here. The group also announced that they will be launching a North American tour in support of the album. The trek is scheduled to kick off on May 3rd in Toronto at the Sony Centre for the Performing Arts and will wrap up on June 7th with an appearance at the Governor's Ball in New York City. Check out the album's tracklisting and the upcoming tour dates here.
Stapleton primarily recorded the new album at Nashville's historic RCA Studio A with producer Dave Cobb (Sturgill Simpson, Jason Isbell). Traveller was recorded by Vance Powell (Jack White). The one-minute commercial showcases Lambert singing on a front porch while imagery of nature and driving down a dirt road pops up on the screen. "I raise my glass on a Saturday night/ I thank the Lord above on my Sunday drive," she sings while driving in her own Ram Truck. "This campaign is actually designed to broaden the appeal of both Ram and Miranda, beyond our core audiences as we connect with our respective fans in new, meaningful ways," said Olivier Francois, Chrysler Group's chief marketing officer. "In simple terms, the target for our 'Roots and Wings' campaign is not a single target. Men, women, all ages, and sure, we hope the millions of die-hard fans Miranda has will like it too." While fans of Lambert's will start seeing the commercial this week on television, the video will also play during her Certified Platinum Tour right before she takes the stage. Read more here.
The song triangulates both of their genres and ends up somewhere in the middle, with EDM drops and buzzing synths. Fall Out Boy haven't lost their emotive vocal edge, though, and Khalifa delivers a typically party-hearty verse about how he's "more exclusive" than the object of his affection's ex. This isn't the first time Fall Out Boy have toed the hip-hop line: they toured with Paul Wall back in 2006, and released their 2007 "It's Not A Scene It's An Arms Race Megamix," with Tyga, Fabolous, Jay Z, Kanye West, Paul Wall, Jadakiss, T.I., Lupe Fiasco and Lil Wayne. Brown's girlfriend Karrueche Tran co-stars as his robe-clad lover in the video. They keep things very PG though: Chris Brown gives her no more than a peck on the forehead during a romantic hail of blossoms. The song features Kendrick Lamar, who doesn't seem to have made it to the shoot; instead, he is an invisible voice from above. Chris Brown raps quietly along to some of his verse. In a recent interview with Rolling Stone, Brown described why he chose Kendrick for the song: 'I picked Kendrick because his subject matter as a lyricist is beyond everybody else's," he explained. 'There's a substance to what he says." Watch the video here.
Well, good news: Jimmy Kimmel found a way to make them more interesting to you on Jimmy Kimmel Live. Kimmel, who has been getting celebrities to read mean tweets for years, featured the indie band singing some rather trolly YouTube comments. So, if the band's lyrics such as "Sweet descend this rabble 'round the pretty little patter of a seaport town/Rolling in the water and rolling down the old main drag/All dolled up in gabardine, the lash-flashing Leda of pier nineteen" (from "Down By The Water") never quite grabbed you, you may find that you enjoy this number about Kim Kardashian: "OMG she proved she didn't have a butt implants [sic] with a butt x-ray and she admitted she gets Botox, she does squats!" It's possible that you felt what the Decemberists were missing was more songs about Justin Bieber. No prob! They blew minds with this rocker: "Beaver [sic] is a cocky little punk who thinks he can piss on people cuz he is worth 160 million!" They kept it fair and balanced, singing a response to the above comment, and this one is sure to become one of their biggest hits: "Shut up he hot and he can do whatever!" Watch it here.
Last week, Perry posted a pic of her pre-Bowl (Puppy Bowl, that is) routine: a face mask covered with plastic wrap she was inexplicably wearing next to a cement bust that was clad in tanning glasses. On Friday, Perry showed the after effects of that mask (and her new purple dye job) in an Instagram of herself and her dog Butters with the caption "V important puppy bowl meeting." You can tell they're in game mode by Perry's Adidas tracksuit (and lone pink shower slide) that she wore in her last Puppy Bowl prep photo update. See the posts here.
When Tom Felton, the actor best known for playing Slytherin house member Draco Malfoy, tweeted that he had been asked by the Huffington Post which house Grande would be in, the pop singer responded with a very unexpected answer. While he had filed her to the heroic Gryffindor camp, the one which Harry Potter and his friends Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger belonged to, Grande revealed her dark side and said that she actually sees herself more as a Syltherin member. "@ArianaGrande I got asked by Huffington Post what house you'd be in. I went with Gryffindor. Hoping that suits." - Tom Felton (@TomFelton) January 23, 2015" "pottermore said slytherin but i'll take it☁️ "@tomfelton: @arianagrande I got asked by huff post what house youd be in. "You know, when it comes to the NFL, I've never been over-the-top on any team," Aldean admits during an interview with Radio.com, revealing his preference for college football, the Georgia Bulldogs in particular. "I keep up with the (Atlanta) Falcons, because I'm from Georgia, and the Titans, (after) moving to Tennessee. I'm not really a diehard one way or the other for any team, but those are kind of the two teams that I really watch. "I would like to see the Falcons win a Super Bowl at some point, just the fact that they're from Georgia," he adds. "I don't know that they've ever won a Super Bowl (ed. note: while the Falcons made it to Super Bowl XXXIII in 1999, they lost to the Denver Broncos, 34-19), but it definitely hasn't been in my lifetime, that's for sure." When it comes to Aldean's favorite NFL players, he roots for guys with ties to the Georgia Bulldogs as they make their way in the professional ranks. "I like Matthew Stafford (of the Detroit Lions), a former Georgia quarterback, Knowshon Moreno, running back that actually played there with Stafford, he's with the (Miami) Dolphins now. I like to keep up with those guys. "Stafford's one of those guys," Aldean continues. "He was just in my opinion one of the best quarterbacks Georgia's had ever, and to watch him come out now, be the starting quarterback for Detroit. Him and Calvin Johnson up there, that's pretty fun to watch." When asked which of his own songs would make for a strong sports anthem, the singer selected a pair of tunes from two different albums that he thinks would fit the bill. "'Tattoos on This Town' for me I think is a really cool song that would kind of sum up that," Aldean explained. 'The Only Way I Know,' which is another song of mine, I think is a cool one. Just working hard and getting it done, I think that's pretty cool for a sports team, too.' Watch the full interview with Jason Aldean here.
