Miranda Lambert's New Song 'Roots and Wings' Premieres In Commercial
. (Radio.com) Miranda Lambert is the latest musician to endorse Ram Trucks. The country singer plays a new song she wrote exclusively for the truck line called "Roots and Wings." The one-minute commercial showcases Lambert singing on a front porch while imagery of nature and driving down a dirt road pops up on the screen. "I raise my glass on a Saturday night/ I thank the Lord above on my Sunday drive," she sings while driving in her own Ram Truck. "This campaign is actually designed to broaden the appeal of both Ram and Miranda, beyond our core audiences as we connect with our respective fans in new, meaningful ways," said Olivier Francois, Chrysler Group's chief marketing officer. "In simple terms, the target for our 'Roots and Wings' campaign is not a single target. Men, women, all ages, and sure, we hope the millions of die-hard fans Miranda has will like it too." While fans of Lambert's will start seeing the commercial this week on television, the video will also play during her Certified Platinum Tour right before she takes the stage. Read more here.
