Through The Eyes Of The Dead Preview New Album |
The self-produced "Skepsis" hits the streets on February 2, 2010, and is the first TTEOTD release to feature new vocalist Danny Rodriguez, drummer Mike Ranne and guitarist Chris "Hank" Henckel. The album was recorded at Geller Cellar Studios in New York and mastered by Alan Douches at West West Side (Hatebreed, Shadows Fall), and like previous TTEOTD releases, it features cover art by Paul Romano (Mastodon, Trivium).
Guitarist Justin Longshore commented on the new release: "Our new record 'Skepsis' finally captures the sound we've always envisioned. We really wanted to raise the bar with this one but also keep the consistency that Through The Eyes Of The Dead is known for. Overall, everyone has become better at their instruments and it really shows on the record. I have no doubt in my mind that new and old fans of the band will be pleased when they hear it!"

The Whigs Going Dark in March |
Both an accessible album and one that captures the band's on-stage passion (something that has become synonymous with the band's live show), IN THE DARK reveals another layer in the band's songwriting and highlights what fans and critics have fallen in love with, including Jon Pareles of The New York Times who praised the band for their "two-chord guitar and drums furor worthy of The Who."
Eager to give fans new music, the Athens, GA three piece is now offering 2 new songs - "In The Dark" and "Hundred / Million" - for free download at www.thewhigs.com/music/in-the-dark-single. In addition, the band is currently on a North American headlining tour premiering new songs. Tour dates

Dragged Into Sunlight Again |
The album, recorded by Tom Dring and Billy Anderson (Eyehategod, Neurosis, Weedeater), was originally released in 2009 by Mordgrimm Records (Anaal Nathrakh, Covenant). The mysterious band, whose sound can be described as a mixture of black, death and doom metal, has shared the stage with acts such as Vader, Grief, Trap Them, Gama Bomb And Lazarus Blackstar.
The band, who appear masked in photos, play in near total darkness and smoke and do not publicize their individual names, commented about today's heavy music scene: "A few blastbeats, a scrawled logo and people accept it, regardless of the reality. Dragged Into Sunlight is a concept, we've taken the time to come up with our own understanding and presentation of what we want to see associated with extreme metal in 2009 and beyond."

Britain's Hadouken Set US Debut |
Their first single M.A.D. an acronym for Mutually Assured Destruction, is a booming, bass-heavy explosion that ponders the psychology of violence in the broadest sense. M.A.D is available now on iTunes
Hadouken! (James Smith (vocals), Alice Spooner (keyboard), Dan Rice (guitarist), Chris Purcell (Bass) and Nick Rice (drums)) formed in 2006, and by 2008, their word-of-mouth, internet fanned, predominantly teenage fan-base blossomed at such a rate that their first headline tour to 6,000 fans sold-out in under a week, and their second headline tour of the UK in October 2008 sold over 23,000 tickets in 30 days. The rabid Hadouken! fan-base adds up to over a million MySpace friends, accounts for 100,000 downloads of their UK debut album (2008's Music For An Accelerated Culture), and also helped propel that debut to #12 on the UK album chart (as well as #4 in Japan) with barely a waft of hype from the mainstream media. Hadouken! have no one but themselves to thank for this defiantly loyal fan-base. They have been the creative mastermind behind all of their marketing; they know what their fans want and the know how to give it to them.

Kataklysm Working On Next Album |
On X-mas day on the band's Facebook, Twitter and Myspace pages, Kataklysm vocalist Maurizio Iacono will reveal the band's new album title. The album is scheduled for release late-summer/early-fall 2010.
Guitarist J-f Dagenais comments: "I'm really excited to be deep into the writting process for the new Kataklysm album; the band is more focused then ever. This album will be different then 'Prevail,' but will still have the classic Kataklysm trademarks and hooks. You will see a much more intricate record then we`ve done in the past. It will contain some really fast and dynamic parts, but we will also aim on a very melodic driven record and it will contain lots of technical parts as well that we haven't explored much lately. And no worries, the bone crushing grooves are always a must with Kataklysm and will be present.
