Moreover, Brandi Carlile's sophomore release The Story continues to enjoy chart success, reclaiming spots within the top 10 on both iTunes Top Albums Chart and Amazon's Bestseller's list. Carlile's recent return to the charts is due in large part to a General Motors commercial featuring the album's title track.
Debuting on August 8th during the opening ceremonies of the 2008 Summer Olympics, GM's spot showcases the company's alternative fuel solutions (including hybrids and hydrogen fuel cells) set to Brandi's powerful song.

The issue celebrates "the people and the ideas that are laying the foundation for the 21st Century," says Esquire editor David Granger. Esquire chose Danger Mouse as an artist whose work will have a powerful influence for years to come. 100,000 copies of the issue will feature an innovative cover with "electronic ink."
In 2008 alone, as half of the chart-topping duo Gnarls Barkley, Danger Mouse released the acclaimed LP The Odd Couple, toured the United States and Europe, and won two MTV Video Music Awards. As a producer, he lent his unmistakable touch to hit albums from Beck and the Black Keys. And Rolling Stone gave him "Best Producer" honors.
- Danger Mouse is currently readying several undisclosed projects for 2009.

The Twilight Sad's James Graham further enhances the emotional delivery with a guest vocal contribution on an incredible version of "Keep Yourself Warm." The lads will kick this run off in Cleveland with a free in-store performance at Music Saves October 15 and finish up at the Fun Fun Fun Fest in Austin on November 9, before heading to Europe to open for Death Cab for Cutie.
