Slightly Stoopid Week: Day 3 |
"The Fruits" - MILES: That's a song that Kyle wrote. We used to call it "The Rock Steady," because it's got that nice four on the floor, driving rhythm. We recorded it out there [in Miami] with the guys from Inner Circle. Junior Jazz and myself were doing guitars, and Kyle was doing the bass. It's pretty much like a party song. It's one of those happy kind of songs that when you play it, it just makes you smile.
"Circle House Blues" - MILES: What was dope about that was it was just a straight live take, of just all of us playing together. James just hit record and we started getting funky that's how we came up with that jam.
Hearing is believing! Check out the music, learn more about the group and grab tour dates and more right

Wait, wait - don't freak out just yet. This alleged Madonna sex tape is supposedly between Madonna and Alex Rodriguez! There's not a sniff of Guy Ritchie anywhere! That means, at absolute worst, the Madonna sex tape will only be appalling enough to make your eyeballs burn up and pop. You won't actually die from watching it.

Courtney Love Vs Ryan Adams |
Not only is she appalled by the theft, which was apparently part of the identity-theft issues she's been blogging about and facilitated by her ex-boyfriend/Rock N Roll producer James Barber, she's irritated that her funds were used to make such a crappy, poorly named album: "Ryan Adams worst record and one of the worst records i can think of in rock and roll history ironically called'Riock and Roll '... yeah you listen to this ---- im listening to my i tunes on right now who names a record 'Rock n Roll' what ---holes do that? ... with these trebled up guitars my bandmate said sounded like 'really horrific rem on steroids' all treble and compresssion and ---- wirtten songs - but so what?"
Love's post concluded with a call for Adams to pay back said $858k and let her know how his heroin habit was holding up. The post was picked up by the likes of Gawker over the weekend, and after deleting it she got into a bit of a back-and-forth with the commenters on that site and others who were so quick to defend Adams' music (why??) and write her off as drug-addled, crazy, etc.

Bleeding Through in September |
The followup to The Truth (2006) and This is Love, This is Murderous (2003), which have sold a combined quarter of a million albums worldwide, was produced by Devin Townsend in Vancouver, British Columbia. Declaration is incredibly dense, layered and full of atmosphere, recalling the finest moments of classic death metal, black metal and hardcore.
Bleeding Through has always stood for the broken-hearted and betrayed. Declaration expands further upon that idea. Contrary to earlier reports of a conceptually driven album, Bleeding Through's latest is their most diverse offering thematically, addressing a variety of topics on tracks like "There Was a Flood," "Germany" and "Death Anxiety."
