Blabbermouth reports: Former CARCASS frontman
Jeff Walker has sent the following update to BLABBERMOUTH.NET:
"My [solo] album, 'Welcome to Carcass Cuntry',
has had the release date put back in the U.S. to 28th May. WEA, who distribute
Lumberjack/Mordam, have now objected to the sleeve and want to sticker
it 'cos of the 'explicit content' � i.e. the word 'c***ry,' which, of course,
can't be offensive as it's not even a real word and also because of the
word 'f***.' Oh, how shocking � I could have sworn that word was in the
Oxford English Dictionary. Maybe that should have a parental warning, too?
How ironic � I did a JOHN DENVER cover in respect of the fact that he testified
against the PMRC and now my album's being stickered � an album upon which

Blabbermouth reports: ARMORED SAINT have announced
a number of European festival and headline appearances set for June and
July. Included are the band's first dates in the U.K. since 1991 and their
first-ever appearances in Ireland and Scotland. In addition, ARMORED SAINT
will be playing select dates in California, including teaming up with DEATH
ANGEL and FLOTSAM AND JETSAM for a special show at the House Of Blues in
West Hollywood on Friday, July 7. Tickets for the House of Blues show are

Blabbermouth reports: Island Records made
the decision to drop the band LOSER when founding member John 5 (ex-MARILYN
MANSON) opted to leave the group and maintain his position as the guitarist
for ROB ZOMBIE. "Being the founding member of LOSER, my decision to leave
was not an easy one," said John 5 in a press release. "I've been juggling
two careers both with LOSER and ROB ZOMBIE for over one year now. I found

South African post-Nirvana grunge to North America next month. They kick
things off with a swing through Avril Land with Rocketface tagging along
for support. They then head south for a series of dates in the U.S. kicking
off in Kurt Cobain's backyard on May 29th. It looks like Faktion &

The band announced the departure of singer Tony Jelencovitch in a rather
brief statement on their website. "We wish Tony all the best for the future,
and a replacement will be announced soon," reads the statement. The band
had planned to enter the studio next month with Shaun Tingvolt (Strapping
Young Lad & Lamb of God) & Christian Olde Wolbers (Fear Factory)
to begin work on their next album. No word yet on how this shakeup will

Undying have hung up their guitars after eight hamburger free years. The
death of Undying was announced on the band's website. Here is their statement:
After playing the final show of our final tour on March 6th of the year
2006 in Charlotte, North Carolina, Undying has decided to part ways. As
is always the case, we have our reasons for the break-up, some petty, some
great, none of which we will go into here. Suffice to say that for the
past eight years we have had the rare opportunity to travel the world,
have more than a few interesting experiences, and make friends, too many
to be counted here, who we will hold heart-close and dear for a lifetime

Relapse reports: Renowned drummer John Longstreth
has rejoined ORIGIN, the cult technical death metal band he played and
recorded with over the band's first two albums (Informis, Infinitas, Inhumanitas
and Origin).
ORIGIN will hit the road for an extensive
US tour that will last through the better part of the summer. The tour
will begin on July 19 in Oklahoma City and circle the US before concluding
on August 26. This is the band's first headlining tour backing their latest
