John Osborne had the following to say about the Wes Edwards and Ryan Silver directed clip, "The media these days is flooded with all things presidential and politics.
"No matter what happens, politicians all seem to pin the blame on something else as opposed to being accountable for their own actions. We felt the connection with the song title was perfect."
TJ adds, "John and I always like song titles that aren't immediately obvious but are common everyday sayings. We're all guilty of saying 'It Ain't My Fault' more so than it actually being true. When our co-writer, Lee Thomas Miller, brought up the idea we loved it. We wanted a video that was as exciting as the music." Watch the video via a parody news website

Set in a gorgeous Miami villa, the "Heartbreak" visual finds Fat Joe and Remy Ma living the lavish life. Sun-drenched cabanas and Versace dress shirts set the stage, as the two rap icons wax poetic about their love interests. Remy yearns to jet set with her verse, singing "Let's go to Paris / Let's go to Rome / I'm so all into you / I can't contain it now."
Joe, ever the charmer, is telling his new flame that she can do better. "He don't acknowledge you," he raps, but then acquiesces that it's hard to focus on love when you're chasing paper. ""I'm out of time, you know it gets hard for me // I gotta respond, the money keep calling me." Watch the video

Imagine a town where you and all your fellow broken-hearted friends lived. In this place, there's no looking back, no more anger, no more thinking you'd somehow be better off with that jerk who dumped you. And because your mind is clear, you stake your claim to the ground and call the place "Wreck and Ruin."
Of course the jerk who dumped you thinks he's left you in shambles and that you'll never be okay without him, but ahhhhh, on the contrary - there are so many of us in here in the city limits of "Wreck and Ruin," and in the company of people who've experienced a similar pain, there's a lot of freedom and rest.
It was a real joy writing this song with my good friend and frequent collaborator Becky Warren, and having her come sing backups on it in the studio was just as fun. Production-wise, I wanted it to be strong and sassy, and I think the band gave us just that.
Hearing is believing. Now that you know the story behind the song, listen for yourself and learn more about the album
