Disney announced that the first single from the upcoming album A Whole New Sound is multi-platinum band Simple Plan's rendition of "Can You Feel The Love Tonight," in honor of The Lion King from Walt Disney Animation Studios and its 30th anniversary. This pop-punk cover, available now on all streaming platforms (including Amazon, Spotify, Apple Music and more), is a fresh new take on a beloved classic.

"We wanted to pay homage to Sir Elton John's original version while also adding our own style to it and making it sound fun and energetic. We're really stoked by how it turned out and we hope everyone will enjoy it," Simple Plan said. (continue)

Young The Giant releases "Metropolis" from their archives. Never before released, the song was written and recorded by lead singer Sameer Gadhia in the days of their hit album Mind Over Matter.

The band teased the track on their 2023 American Bollywood World Tour by surprising fans with stripped-back acoustic performances of the song several times throughout the summer. This year being the record's 10-year anniversary, it felt right to share this musical time capsule. (continue)

Today sees the release of 'Ten,' the new studio album from Mr. Big! To celebrate the release, the band shares a new single, "Right Outta Here," accompanied by a new visualizer video.

Following the critically acclaimed release of her latest studio album Heavy Soul, which debuted at #2 on the Billboard Blues Album chart under Slash's latest release, celebrated blues-rock guitarist and singer-songwriter Joanne Shaw Taylor has delighted fans with a special new single, "Wishing Well," a powerful cover of Free's hit song, available now on all major streaming platforms.

Written by the Free band members about their close friend Bevan T. Woodhouse, "Wishing Well" quickly climbed the UK Singles Chart, reaching number 7 on January 13, 1973. Featured on the band's sixth and final studio album, Heartbreaker, it was Free's final hit single before the group disbanded, with Paul Rodgers and Simon Kirke going on to form Bad Company. GRAMMY nominated band, OneRepublic, debuted their new album, Artificial Paradise. The new album arrives on the heels of the band's recently released single "Hurt" from last week. Earlier this summer, OneRepublic shared their smash hit with David Guetta, "I Don't Wanna Wait", which has amassed over 130 million streams globally since its release.

Candlebox have at least one final act, after all. The group has unveil A Little Longer Goodbye (Tour Edition), the digital deluxe version of the album The Long Goodbye, on all DSPs today, Friday, July 12 via Round Hill Records.

The digital release will feature the 12 tracks on the record plus two bonus live songs, including "Elegante" and "Cellphone Jesus" (Recorded at Club Amanda in Santiago, Chile on October 27, 2023), as well as the official launch of the single "Washed Up." (continue)

Sarah Bonsignore: "'Five More Minutes' is a special song because it's the first one that we wrote together for our duo. We had been writing and harmonizing for a few years but officially decided to form our group during AmericanaFest that happens in Nashville. We wrote this song in the fall of 2019 and little did any of us know that there would be a global pandemic and it wouldn't be until 2023 that we would be able to start performing and touring together again. But that unforeseen time - and the great tools we both had for working together remotely - led us to write an entire album. (continue)
