Danko Jones have unleashed a high-voltage, new track entitled "Waiting For you". This previously-unreleased song is a bonus track taken off the upcoming DANKO JONES Electric Sounds Deluxe Version, that is slated for a Digital release on April 12, 2024. Additionally to the album Electric Sounds, the digital Deluxe Version will include "Waiting For You" and a second bonus track, "Haunting Me."

(hennemusic) Original Motley Crue guitarist Mick Mars is streaming his debut solo album, "The Other Side Of Mars", in sync with its recent release. Mars - who worked with producer and engineer Michael Wagener - is joined on the project by Winger and former Alice Cooper keyboardist Paul Taylor, who, in addition to performing on the record and assisting Mars in co-writing many of the tracks, introduced the guitarist to powerhouse vocalist Jacob Bunton.

"Jacob came into the studio and it was like, bam!" Mars recalls. "And I just said, 'Yeah, he's the guy.' And most of his vocals were one take." (continue)

Buzzed-about new UK band KillerStar-Rob Fleming and James Sedge-today (February 29) roll out the video for "You're A Chameleon" ahead of their self-titled debut album's release tomorrow, Friday, March 1.

The Fleming-penned song is a "driving hard rock track that blended in some catchy vocal hooks, melodies and harmonies, with a few twists and turns," he says. Fleming (guitars, synths, vocals) and Sedge (drums) are joined on You're A Chameleon" by three of the late great David Bowie's most trusted collaborators, Earl Slick (guitars), Gail Ann Dorsey (bass), and Emm Gryner (backing vocals). Rad Brown just released a new single called "Pace Yourself" featuring Opio (from Souls of Mischief & Hieroglyphics) and Minor Birds, and to celebrate we asked him to tell us about the track (which will appear on the forthcoming "Upper Crust Confections" project). Here is the story:

It all started with finding a way to combine three earworm songs stuck with me since childhood. I grew up immersed in evangelical entertainment so it's impossible for me to not have been strongly impacted at a musical level by what I loved at the time. Much of it sounds outdated and corny by today's standard, but I loved songs with a heavy synth presence and they still influence what I produce to this day. (continue)
