KISS star Gene Simmons has reportedly lineup up his first solo band performance since KISS playing the final show of their farewell tour last year. Gene's solo band is set to headline the Summer Breeze Brazil Festival.
Organizers announced the lineup on Wednesday (January 17th) that includes Simmons headlining the first night of the festival on April 26th with performances from Mr. Big and Sebastian Bach, Within Temptation leading the second night that will also feature Epica and HammerFall. Dark Funeral frontman Andreas Vingback (aka Heljarmadr) shared via social media that he has been forced to postpone two upcoming shows in Athens and Stockholm, after he was hospitalized due to a severe blood clot.
Heljarmadr had this to say, "Who wants to live forever? I've just returned from a really close conversation with Death himself but I'm not dead or dying yet. I suffered from a pretty severe thrombosis (blod clot), luckily I got hospitalized in time and I got the treatment needed to manage my condition, there's also a long term plan in the making for maximum recovery. Reba McEntire is slated to perform the national anthem for Super Bowl LVIII in Las Vegas, which was announced today on CBS Mornings. The Super Bowl will take place at Allegiant Stadium on Sunday, Feb. 11 and will air on CBS.
The performance will mark a full circle moment for Reba, who was discovered 50 years ago at the 1974 National Finals Rodeo in Oklahoma when she sang the national anthem, launching her iconic career. (continue)
