The first single from the project is "War Of Change" featuring Las Vegas-based rockers Adelitas Way.
"Creating The End Is Where We Begin was a special and defining moment that will always hold a special place in my heart," says Thousand Foot Krutch founder, vocalist and songwriter Trevor McNevan. "It was a time of big faith steps, trusting our hearts and leaving behind any securities of a record label. On August 2nd 2023, the legendary, immortal Ian 'Lemmy' Kilmister will be honored with an unforgettable symbolic act at the famous Wacken Festival in Wacken, Germany, as part of Lemmy Forever, a weekend celebration of his life, legacy, and his continuing indomitable presence as one the world's most important artistic cultural figures. Cinematic duo Silent Skies have released the second new single from their upcoming third record - the harmonious "Churches". The song, with its dynamic progression, effervescent character, and majestic build, showcases more wonderful nuances from the new studio album, 'Dormant', which releases September 1, 2023 via Napalm Records. The single release is paired with a video, the product of a collaboration between Swedish director extraordinaire Patric Ullaeus and American filmmaker Paul Moore.
Silent Skies is the project of Evergrey's Tom S. Englund and acclaimed US-based pianist/composer Vikram Shankar (Redemption, Lux Terminus). Together on 'Dormant', they conjure a cinematic odyssey of gripping compositions. Developing their atmospheric path of Scandinavian melancholy first charted on their previous two records, but expanding their sonic universe with a variety of new elements and approaches, the new album features stunning piano melodies, atmospheric keyboards, lush and expansive soundscapes, and Englund's hauntingly beautiful, distinctive voice. The Frst returns with the new single "Murderabilia" a collaboration with Eagles of Death Metal. The track was mixed & produced by Zack Odom and Kenneth Mount (All Time Low, Mayday Parade, Set it Off, Cartel) and serves as the follow-up to The Frst's last collab, the single "Bruce Lee," with Kellin Quinn and Sleeping With Sirens, which hit #29 on the iTunes chart and became Kellin's #6th most popular song on Spotify.
The Frst mastermind Mikei Gray says, "I found out about the concept of Murderabilia from listening to the band, Acid Bath. The cover of one of their records is a painting by John Wayne Gacy. That led me down a rabbit hole into discovering that Murderabilia was when items are taken from murders or crime scenes and sold. I thought that was kind of sick, and it motivated me to write the song in a really rapid fashion. I felt like more people needed to know about this...It was such an honor to work with Jennie and Jesse. The EODM are one of my favorite bands, it's still such a trip." (continue)

Legendary Curved Air violinist Darryl Way has launched a physical version of The Rock Artist's Progress album, which was only previously available via digital download.
The music for the album was inspired by the novel of the same name, written by music journalist Charles Shorwell, which charts the brief yet eventful music career of the band Magenta Aura (Daniel Luckham, Brian Ester, Martin Sudley, Steve Matlake). Magenta Aura were a little-known cult psychedelic rock band who came to prominence in 1968 as part of the underground counterculture "Summer of Love" London scene. Although they were alleged to have recorded a debut album it was never released and little or no trace of the band could ever be found. Shorwell's book tells the story of the band's success and then downfall at the hands of an unforgiving music business. (continue)
Tom Heyman will be releasing the title track to his new album, "24th Street Blues" officially this Friday, but Glide Magazine has premiered the song, giving fans an early listen.
Heyman will be releasing the new album on October 6th. Check out the song premiere here. Here is the official announcement: When speaking of San Francisco these days, it seems like it is stereotypically presented as either a city full of young tech nomads lining up for artisanal coffee, or as a blighted, urban hellscape of fentanyl zombies and street crime. But with his sixth solo album 24th Street Blues, Tom Heyman sings of a more rank-and-file San Francisco, balancing the encroaching darkness of an overdeveloped cityscape with the fragile, abiding beauty of the Golden Gate City.
