Last night, the acclaimed rock band, Red Hot Chili Peppers, kicked off the European leg of their 2023 tour with an incredible headline performance at PGE Narodowy in Warsaw, PL.

Phil Campbell And The Bastard Sons have announced details of their upcoming third album Kings Of The Asylum. The album will be released on 1st September through Nuclear Blast Records, and will be the first studio release to feature singer Joel Peters.

Memphis May Fire have shared the very special video for the new single "Misery" from last year's Remade in Misery album, out now via Rise Records.

"With 'Misery' being the song we named the album after, it obviously holds a lot of weight," states Matty Mullins. The Hold Steady's 20th-anniversary festivities continue with a series of very special in-store events marking the upcoming publication of The Gospel of The Hold Steady: How a Resurrection Really Feels, a new oral history by Michael Hann and The Hold Steady, arriving July 25 via Akashic Books. The book-as-ticket events (purchase of the book at participating stores ensures entry) include Q&As with award-winning writers and local personalities and exclusive book signing sessions. The first one is on July 1 at Chicago's City Lit Bookstore. It will be a special pre-release launch event hosted by Jessica Hopper with the book exclusively available for pre-release.

Put It Here Productions and Big Minnow Records have joined forces to help continue the legacy of trailblazers Naked Raygun and their bassist, the late Pierre Kezdy, who sadly passed away from cancer in October of 2020.

The tribute album consists of cover songs from artists who not only love Naked Raygun, but were also influenced by them. Hot Water Music, Face To Face, Swingin' Utters, J. Robbins (Jawbox), Josh Caterer (Smoking Popes), The Bollweevils, The Methadones, Pegboy, The Brokedowns, The Usuals, Grey Trash Aliens, Death And Memphis, The Turdles, and Stress Dreams, all recorded one of their favorite songs, paying homage to the band and a legend gone too soon. Today, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame E Street Band member, Crazy Horse member and solo artist Nils Lofgren released "Won't Cry No More (For Charlie Watts)," a blistering track that channels the passing of Charlie Watts into a broader reflection on loss and perseverance. The song is the third single from Lofgren's upcoming album Mountains, out on July 21.

"Without the Beatles, Stones, Hendrix, this music of mine wouldn't exist," states Lofgren.
