Beginning June 28, fans can shop dozens of pieces, including an early '2000s Fender Telecaster 72 Deluxe Reissue, in The Official Frank Iero of My Chemical Romance Reverb Shop.
For more than two decades, Iero has been busy both in the studio and on the road. With a career spanning platinum plaques, nearly a half-dozen bands, and numerous solo projects, his sound is recognizable to millions across the globe - but when it comes to some of his most cherished gear, including an early '2000s Fender Telecaster 72 Deluxe Reissue, Iero said that "...the time has come to pass it on to another deserving player." Original Judas Priest guitarist K.K. Downing's new band KK's Priest have announced the Priests, Killers & Witches Tour which will also feature original Iron Maiden frontman Paul Di'Anno and Burning Witches.

Radiohead offshoot The Smile, featuring Thom Yorke, Jonny Greenwood and Tom Skinner, have released a brand new single, "Bending Hectic".
Produced by Sam Petts-Davies and with strings by the London Contemporary Orchestra, the standalone single was recorded at Abbey Road Studios in London earlier this year. It was first debuted by The Smile during their Montreux Jazz Festival appearance in 2022 and, while not included on the subsequent live album The Smile (Live at Montreux Jazz Festival, July 2022), it became a word-of-mouth phenomenon, with fans and critics calling for its release. After a year of waiting, "Bending Hectic" gets a global digital release today via XL Recordings. (continue)
LA area rock outfit Centershift have released new single "The Ride" via Spotify and Apple Music. The group features singer/guitarist Jasan Radford of Onesidezero notoriety and the track comes on the heels of their recent single "Fade Away". "The Ride" will be released by label/distro partner Auspicious Recordings/Wolf Entertainment, and Summer shows have been announced in support of the track.
"The Ride'' was produced by Jose Alcantar, whose credits include Linkin Park, Blue October, Imagine Dragons, All American Rejects and others. Centershift entered the studio with Alcantar in April to begin work on what will soon be their follow-up album to 'A Different Shade of Color', which was the band's 2022 debut effort. The band is rounded out by Ryan Shane Stuber (ex-Shuvel) on guitar, Ted Wenri (ex-Bemus) on bass and drummer Stefan Storace (ex-BLüPRNT). Goose has announced plans for its 10th annual Goosemas holiday celebration, set for December 8 and 9 at Hampton, VA's famed Hampton Coliseum, marking the band's final shows of 2023.
"Goosemas started as a small holiday party with our friends in Connecticut 10 years ago, so it's wild to bring it to this epic coliseum," says Rick Mitarotonda. Fireborn have released their debut album "Reflections". The band is fronted by powerhouse singer Jenny Gruber, and rounded out by Dennis Weber, Raphael Singh, Flo Bucher, and Chris Lehr. The German metal/rock act produces unique and timeless music with strong passion, expressive vocals, and defining hooks. Despite her young age, the petite singer stands out with her hard to delicate voice, extensive vocal range, and incredible sovereignty. In 2019, Fireborn (under the name Dislike Silence) played in the finals of the 37th German Rock and Pop Awards and took third place in the Rock category.
In winter 2021, the band visited the Little Creek Studio in Gelterkinden, Switzerland, where the first album, "Reflections", was recorded with producer Schmier (Destruction, Burning Witches, Pänzer) and sound engineer V.O. Pulver (Destruction, Pro-Pain, Burning Witches, the Order, Nervosa). Schmier states, "There's gotta be something special to arouse my interest as a music fan and as a composer and performer, something that touches my soul and gives me the chills. This really happened the first time I heard Jenny from Fireborn sing." This is sure to be an album and a band to keep an eye on as they take the rock and metal world by storm. (continue)

You're So Cold (I'm On Fire) has changed names a lot before finding its identity. It went from Down The Ride to Rolling Stones, because I was singing lots of Rolling Stones at the time, which might be why there's a bit of Mick Jagger's attitude in the voice. (continue)
