The original dates were postponed after frontman Brian Johnson was warned that he faced hearing loss if he continued to perform live on the tour. The rescheduled dates kick off on August 27th in Greensboro, NC and conclude on September 20th in Philadelphia, PA.
Guitarist Angus Young had the following to say: "This band has got a ton of energy and you're going to see a fusion of all that terrific chemistry that we have felt ever since rehearsals in Lisbon. I want to get back out there onstage in the US with these guys so our audience can see and feel it too."

Kiedis tells Australian TV show Sunday Night (via Canoe.com), "I felt more care than anything else. I got a lot of messages in the mail; it just seemed like people did care. My friends called, people I hadn't spoken to for years called, but what people assume or think about using (drugs), I could care less. It didn't faze me at all."
He went on to say: "I happen to love being sober, I also loved being wasted at times. Being sober for me is a pleasure, I get a lot of joy out of it; it works for me. I get to surf, I get to hang out with my son, I get to play music, I get to be OK."
Kiedis also recounted the illness that caused him to be hospitalized "This was knocking me off my feet, and I was white as a ghost, and my whole gut section just seized up, and I was kind of falling to my knees in pain, so I got taken by a friend to the hospital from the gig."
He also saw a silver lining in the incident, "Maybe there was a reason for me to get sick, so I can get stronger than I was before."
Wachtel Weiland tells the Joe Howard Show (via Blabbermouth): "I think there's this preconceived notion that Scott, being a rock star, must have just had millions in the bank, and that I'm probably just sitting pretty and just collecting money, and it's the antithesis of the truth.
"He, unfortunately, passed away with an enormous amount of debt. There were a lot of loose ends that were never dealt with. I could have fought a lot more to be involved in the mess that was left behind, but the truth is, for a long time, I was completely paralyzed. I was incapable of doing anything. It was hard for me to just get through the day, much less lawyer up and deal with all the legalities of an estate and probate." Read more

Speaking with Rolling Stone, Bob Weir said the formation-which includes original members Micky Hart and Billy Kreutzmann, along with guitarist John Mayer, bassist Oteil Burbridge and keyboardist Jeff Chimenti-might eventually get into the studio, but it will take some time before that happens.
"We kick it around," he admitted. "We need to put in another tour-or two. And then what direction do we pursue with recording? Do we start from scratch, do all new material? Or do we go back after some of the tunes that were never recorded [by the Dead] in the studio? Or a combination of both, which is kind of where I would want to do it. For instance, I would love to take a song like 'The Other One,' into the studio or 'Dark Star.'" Read more

They're joined by former Forbidden drummer Mark Hernandez, former Manmade God and Orion bassist James Walker and current Drawing Heaven guitarist Dan Delay.

Killer Elite - The Hits, The Highs, The Vids is scheduled for an July 23rd release through Spinefarm Records. The 22-track set -two hours and 30 minutes of music, featuring both studio and live material, with promo clips added to the Deluxe set- fully showcases the ambition, variety and skill of the group's musical output, now taking in six studio albums; elements of thrash, speed and power metal are spread across accelerated rockers and more measured, melodic offerings.
It encompasses everything, from their biggest hit, "Through The Fire And Flames," a staple inclusion on several best-selling video games (i.e. Guitar Hero) and recently used as the basis of a U.S. mockumentary featuring the band and Oculus Rift founder Palmer Luckey through "Dawn Over a New World," a ballad harking back to the early years.
With latest recruit, singer Marc Hudson, now having two studio albums under his belt (2012's The Power Within and 2014's Maximum Overload), Killer Elite... is the chance for new fans to familiarize themselves with glories past and for long-standing supporters to revel in the attention to detail of a multi-format package balancing audience faves with compositions close to the collective DRAGONFORCE heart...
Guitarist Herman Li, who started the group in 1999 with fellow shredder Sam Totman, says, "The aim of this release is to give a strong flavor of everything we've recorded so far, and I like to think it shows a lot of diversity. Certainly, we tried to make it as broad-based as possible. Since Marc joined the band (replacing original frontman ZP Theart), we've actually released some of our speediest songs and some our most melodic compositions, too. DRAGONFORCE isn't just about the relentless tempos and the flashy solos; ultimately, it'd the feel of the music that counts..."
The release will be available in the following formats: * 2 CD package (The Hits, The Highs) *Deluxe Special Digi-Pack Edition, including a DVD featuring all of the band's promo clips (The Hits, The Highs, The Vids) *Digital download (The Hits, The Highs)

The acrimonious split seemed to come to a head when the singer saw his legal bid to secure rights to the Immortal name fail. But Abbath's former bandmates now point to some of the tracks on his album and claim foul play was involved.
Immortal say in a statement: "From 2010 until 2014, Immortal wrote all the songs for the successor to All Shall Fall but when ex-member Abbath left the band, he changed the lyrics, song titles and recorded these songs for his so called 'solo album.'
"We had to focus on making a new album nearly from scratch, which is the main reason why things have taken this much time." Read more

"Most of the people we meet throughout our lives come and go. Most of the time you'll never give it a second thought and you'll continue as you were prior to having met those people. If you're lucky though, there will be that rare person who sparks something in you that you never knew was there in the first place. That's what "Let Me In" is about. It could be a friend, a lover, someone you can learn from or someone who can learn from you... It may be all of those things but you'll definitely know when you've found it, and to let that go or take it for granted is a very foolish thing to do.
A vampire can't enter your home without being invited in. I've always loved that particular piece of lore. It's the same idea with people. We have to allow someone into our lives. We aren't going to share our ideas, regrets, flaws, or passions with just anyone, they have to be invited in.
I like to write songs so that they're approachable by anyone. We've all experienced love, hate, and everything in between. Love is what spurred the writing of this song for me.
"She threw me overboard then sabotaged our boat. She drug me out to sea, I didn't even try to float. Took a beating on the reef, then let all my blood flow. Yet she's exactly what I need, so in her love away I stowed."
It's not always a fun ride, but its always worth it when you find the right person."
