Morrissey Calls In Sick Again |
The former Smiths man cancelled the show on doctor's orders, it was explained in a statement, after the singer was suffering from a throat-related illness.
The news comes a day after Morrissey announced that Monday's (May 25) show at the Salisbury City Hall was off.

Candlelight was not qualified enough to get everything arranged legally for the coming of the band and couldn't acquire the appropriate papers. Therefore we have no other choice but to pull out.
They had all the time necessary and this mess is INEXCUSABLE. We strongly condemn this organization and are extremely disappointed by this kind of attitude coming from our label.

Grizzly Bear Veckatimest album premiere: The members of Brooklyn foursome Grizzly Bear will premiere their sophomore album, Veckatimest, on MySpace Music. The album gets its name from a Massachusetts island that the group visited while recording. It was produced by Grizzly Bear's own Chris Taylor (bass, woodwinds). Other band members include Ed Droste (vocals), Christopher Bear (drums) and Daniel Rossen (vocals/guitar). The band's new album is the follow-up to 2006's Yellow House. Julian Marley Awake album premiere: Julian Marley will debut his highly anticipated record, Awake, on MySpace Music. The album was recorded at the Lion's Den in Miami, Florida, and Tuff Gong in Kingston, Jamaica. Machiavellian Hitting the Road |
The band is set to tour the UK alongside The Arusha Accord and Random Conflict before making their North American live debut in late 2009. The new CD was released this Tuesday and will also be released on Glasstone Records in the UK this summer.
Machiavellian have been making a name for themselves within the UK scene with an explosive live show that has earned them high profile opening slots for Job For A Cowboy, Misery Index, Dry Kill Logic, Sikth, and Bring Me The Horizon.

The Dark Root of the Dream |
The show is directed by Ken Roht, creator of the 99� Only Show. The music is an adept blend of gypsy influences and the music of David Bowie and T-Rex in a new genre Leitch terms "Gypsy Glam." It will feature the musical backing of the Fishtank Ensemble, appropriately termed a "cross-pollinated group of gypsy musicians."
