Here they are with today's song: Surrender- Lyrically, this song explores self-introspection.ironically, this track inspires a great deal of questions from attendees of our live shows. Bobbie's answer is simple, "it's about looking into the mirror and making that reflection no longer an enemy. Reaching beyond yourself to help another see that anyone can start a war within."
Nickleback Singer Sentenced For DUI |
Kroeger was sentenced to the bare minimum when he appeared in court on Thursday. Just what is the crime of driving with twice the legal limit of alcohol in your system going for these days? A staggering $600 fine and a year without a drivers license.
He was approached by reporters on the courthouse steps and he wasn't asked directly for his reaction to this heavy handed sentence or if he was sore-y, he was asked instead what he would tell his young fans. "Don't drink and drive. Absolutely," he replied. "I don't condone drinking and driving. I don't think you should do it. Everybody makes mistakes."

Mariah Married Some Rapper We Never Heard Of |
So what about this - Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon have known each other for less than two months, which means the chances of this ending in a way that's messy and embarrassing for all is sky-high? Yeah, now you care. Doesn't matter. We're still coming to beat you up.
So what girl wouldn't want to go through all that again, and with a guy she's only just met? Mariah Carey sure would, because she's apparently got engaged to Nick Cannon, a rapper who got his name because one of his hobbies involves putting ball bearings up his bum and farting them out at pirate ships.

Buckethead's First Recordings Set For Release |
The 19 tracks on From the Coop predate all other Buckethead releases by three years. They are, in fact, the first multi-track recordings Buckethead ever made. He created them in 1988 for a pal who worked as an editor for a guitar magazine, and already it's all there -- the unparalleled technique, the achingly beautiful solos, incredible shredding, wry twists and turns, and best of all, a musical imagination light years beyond his contemporaries.
The guitar-intensive fare includes many surprises, from previously unknown treasures to future fan faves "Hog Bitch Stomp" and "Scraps." Buckethead drew the CD's cover art (a young version of himself in a ghostly chicken coop). The CD booklet includes reproductions of Buckethead's handwriting from the original tapes, as well as the very first Buckethead bio. The CD was produced by Jas Obrecht, who made Buckethead's Acoustic Shards CD and the Young Buckethead DVDs, and the tracks have been digitally restored by Ken Hood. From the Coop will hit stores on 06/10/2008 from MVD.

We Are Scientists Brain Thrust |
The band spent 2007 at weight-loss camps, alcoholics' dry-out facilities, and a race car school, yet has also found time to pen, record, and road-test their sophomore offering, Brain Thrust Mastery. If W.A.S.'s first album had been far, far better than it was, and of a far more mature style, and if they had then released a limp, unenjoyable second record, and if Brain Thrust Mastery were actually their third album, it would be hailed as 'a return to form', as 'equal to -- in many ways an improvement upon -- the monumental debut'.

Ashlee's Fall |
A high-profile engagement, endless speculation about major uterine developments and plenty of face time on TV and magazines couldn't put Ashlee Simpson over the top. As it were, Jessica's baby sister managed just a bittersweet No. 4 debut for Bittersweet World, failing to extend her run of chart-topping albums and looking up at Mariah Carey, Leona Lewis and even the New Zealand novelty act Flight of the Conchords.
Simpson, who sources tell E! News is preggers with new Fall Out Boy fianc Pete Wentz's spawn (the couple has been coy about whether there is a bun in the oven), had both her previous albums debut at No. 1.
