Minus the Bear Invade Sasquatch
PR reports: Sasquatch, Friend or foe? Although beastly in it's demeanor who do you think would win in a street brawl, Minus the Bear or a Sasquatch? Perhaps you will be lucky enough to find out this weekend as the band invades the Gorge for the Sasquatch Music Festival.

Minus the Bear is presently one of the most respected bands in the US with an impressive and devout grassroots following. Their new album, Planet of Ice, is the perfect marriage of the bands signature sound and experimental elements, but with an accessible bent. Nurturing a bold stylistic shift towards progressive and psychedelic rock Planet of Ice is loaded with hooks.

The album has several strong contenders for possible singles (check out lead single "Knights"; also "Throwin' Shapes", and "When We Escape"). The more experimental tracks ("Lotus", "Double Vision Quest", "Part 2") will show that after years of writing and touring, they're not satisfied with tried and true. They've continued to push the envelope, emboldening their chops as players, and mastering the art of reinvention almost effortlessly. Miss the fest? Have no fear, grab a preview at the full story link.- Click Here for the Full Story

Broadjam Now Offering Film/TV Service for Indie Artists
PR reports: Broadjam.com, one of the Internet's predominant and unique music sites for independent musicians and fans, recently launched a new service, Broadjam Deliveries.' This service provides musicians with the opportunity to send their songs directly to music supervisors for film and television, professional reviewers, as well as radio stations throughout the U.S.

Founded in September 1999 by Roy Elkins, a corporate executive and musician with many years of experience in the field, Broadjam.com was created as a way to empower independent musicians by providing them online promotional tools. The Madison-based company has evolved over the last seven years, according to Elkins, from collecting indie music to redistributing it to outlets that are traditionally difficult for independents to reach such as film/TV and radio.

Broadjam's dynamic community serves independent artists and fans from all 50 U.S. states and more than 155 countries globally. Providing musicians a place to call home, Broadjam includes opportunities to place music, a song review system, artist profiles, the ability for artists to sell their music downloads (and receive the highest payout in the industry), over 225 Top 10 Charts, classified ads, song contests, the ability to transmit music (give private access to download songs) and more.
