MySpace Spyware
tinfoilmusic.net reports: MySpace intends to give parents a tool with which they can monitor their childrens activity on the puke-stain of HTML that is called MySpace. The software reports back to the parents things such as the age, location and other identifiable information that child lists in their MySpace account. It also allows the parent to view the child's inbox. Velvet Aerosmith Tour
blabbermouth.net reports: VELVET REVOLVER drummer Matt Sorum revealed during this past weekend's Camp Freddy Radio broadcast on Los Angeles' Indie 103.1 FM that the band will be teaming up with AEROSMITH for some South American dates in April. blabbermouth.net reports: Australia's SILVERCHAIR has announced a Los Angeles show on Tuesday, February 20 at the El Rey Theater. Tickets for this show go on sale on Saturday, January 20.

NASCAR Idol
pr-inside reports: Pop star KELLY CLARKSON is teaming up with the National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing (NASCAR) for a series of events in 2007.

The WALK AWAY singer will perform a concert before one race meeting, appear in TV spots and she'll also get involved with NASCAR's charitable efforts.

Nine Inch Nails Preview DVD
TuneLab reports: Nine Inch Nails have launched a "mini-site" for their upcoming DVD 'Beside You In Time'. The site, halo22.nin.com, will feature a new video clip each week until the release as well as information about the three different versions of the disc.

KNAC reports: Acting veteran Christopher Lee has launched a music career at the age of 84 - releasing a CD of songs including a heavy metal track. The Lord Of The Rings star is convinced he is the oldest rocker to record an album.
