Peter
Bjorn And John USA |
CMJ reports: Though they've already won over
many American critics, appearing on reams of best-of-2006 lists, Swedish
power poppers Peter Bjorn And John are only now officially releasing their
most recent album, Writer's Block, in America. The record has been out
in Europe since June, but stateside indie pop aficionados have the folks
at Almost Gold, the new label partnership of StarTime's Isaac Green and
Scott "I Manage Arcade Fire" Rodger, to thank for the upcoming February
6 release. Those who waited for the album's US arrival will be rewarded
for their patience with loads of extras, including the single version of
"Let's Call It Off" and a bonus disc that includes that song's original
version and five other tracks[see full story for more]-

Sidelines Ignite Tour |
PR reports: Ignite have released this statement:
"We are very sad to announce that our upcoming European tour from February
15. - March 10. is going to be postponed. Our singer Zoli Teglas will be
undergoing a series of tests on his stomach at that time which will followed
by surgery. Obviously the health of Zoli takes precedent over any show
that we have booked. As soon as we have any news on when the European dates
will be re-scheduled we will post them on our website and myspace immediately.
Thanks to all of our fans for their continued support and for making 2006
the most successful year for Ignite ever! We are very excited about 2007.
IGNITE"
The limited tour edition of IGNITE's acclaimed
album "Our Darkest Days" will be postponed until their European tour is
rescheduled. Obviously what's most important right now is Zoli getting
well soon.- Click
