. (PR) With an eagerly-awaited new album, Oh! Gravity., available now, the multi-platinum-selling San Diego-based rock band Switchfoot will hit the road for a series of North American concert dates beginning in February (see full itinerary at the full story link).

The upcoming Switchfoot tour marks the band's first U.S. concerts since an extensive American tour which ran from October 17 through November 22, 2006. Switchfoot's Columbia Records labelmates, Copeland, will open the shows.

In celebration of the new album and in anticipation of the upcoming tour, Switchfoot will appear on "Late Night with David Letterman" on Thursday, January 4 (check your local listings) to perform the title track from Oh! Gravity.
