Beatles
Hitler Cover |
pr-inside reports: SIR PETER BLAKE has revealed
ADOLF HITLER is featured on his iconic cover shot for the BEATLES' SGT
PEPPER album. JOHN LENNON's request to place Hitler on the cover alongside
famous faces like BOB DYLAN and MARLON BRANDO was believed to have been
vetoed on grounds of taste, but Blake insists Hitler is there - albeit
obscured behind the HEY JUDE hitmakers. Blake reveals, "If you look at
photographs of the out-takes, you can see the Hitler image in the studio.
With the crowd behind there was an element of chance about who you can
and cannot see, and we weren't quite sure who would be covered in the final
shot, Hitler was in fact covered up behind the band." [see full story for

More None More Black |
punkbands reports: From a MySpace message
sent out by NMB: Well, ya heard it first from our STUPID friends at punknews.

it a day. it's unfortunate for us, but we came to this conclusion and all
agreed. we did all we could with this band, and ya know what.. we had a
blast. we ended it on the highest note possible, like every band should.
we were never a full time "touring punk act". we got together and played
rock for fun. we tried something new, did what we did, got lucky, put some
records out, and made the best out of what we could.[see full story for
