At The Throne Of Judgement Split |
"We have come to a point in our musical journey where we have been forced to make a decision. Several unforeseen events have unfolded that have brought us to our current situation. The five of us began touring as 3 students fresh out of high school and two students withdrawing from college. Each member graduating from high school had a significant scholarship to a college that they were turning down to tour.
"As you may or may not know, you don't make any money touring when you're a brand new thrash/death metal band in the scene. In fact, you lose money (not trying to discourage anyone). We never viewed making money as a priority, but there comes a time where you must realize that it is just not financially possible to continue.

Cellador Drop Tour |
"Unfortunately due to circumstances beyond our control, we have had pull off the TRAIL OF TEARS, ECHOES OF ETERNITY, and UNEXPECT tour.
We'd like to apologize to all of our fans who were looking forward to seeing us, all of the promoters (we've worked with some of them before and some are even friends. It's a real bummer), and our booking agent. They did a great job and it's unfortunate that we had to cancel our appearance.

Billy Joel to Play Shea? |
He says, I haven't worked with him since the last tour we did, which started in 2005. Let's put it this way... he knows why and I know why, and I'm going to leave it at that.
Meanwhile, Joel can't believe news of his top secret Shea show has been leaked: We're talking with the New York Mets (baseball team) organization. Nothing has been locked in yet. I don't know how the word got out, but nothing has been really confirmed as far as I know. I would love to play there though.

Reservoir Treats |
The national launch of Reservoir Tales coincides with New Line Cinema's January '07 DVD release of the independent and controversial film "Side Effects" starring Katherine Heigl. The film, featuring music from The Treats (during a particularly saucy scene), is a satirical look at the pill pushing tactics of the pharmaceutical industry.
Although landing a spot on the "Side Effects" soundtrack may have been the bands big coup, their latest album Reservoir Tales is what has critics praising this eclectic group from Madison, WI.

Van Halen Angers Fans With Anthony Snubs - A Top Story of 2007 |
A fan wrote us on Saturday with the following: "On every single Van Halen song (with exception to the three new songs on the Best of Both Worlds compilation, ) credits have always gone to Eddie Van Halen, Alex Van Halen, Michael Anthony, and the lead singer who is featured on the song (Roth/Hagar/Cherone). However, during the credits of the film 'Superbad', which features the song 'Panama', the song is only credited to the two Van Halens and Roth! Anthony continues to get snubbed by his former band as they attempt to erase him from the history of the band."
We looked a little further into this and discovered that Anthony has been removed from the credits for all of the songs from the band's Diamond Award winning album 1984 in the ASCAP database. The All Music Guide credits for the songs on the album include Anthony, Eddie, Alex, and Roth. However, Michael McDonald is missing from the credits for the track "I'll Wait". A check of other Van Halen releases still list Anthony as a co-writer.
