Nirvana Baby
Blabbermouth reports: Whatever happened to the naked baby floating in a pool looking at a dollar bill in the famous cover photo from NIRVANA's classic "Nevermind" album? That's the question MTV.com answered this week when it tracked down the tot, named Spencer Elden and now a 17-year-old high school student in Eagle Rock, California.

Elden's parents were paid $200 to allow their friend, photographer Kirk Weddle, to shoot a roll of pictures of the infant Elden swimming for the cover of the iconic 1991 disc.

Now the teen admits that it's a little strange to think that more than nine million people own a nude picture of him. He said, "Yeah, it's kind of creepy that that many people have seen me naked. I feel like I'm the world's biggest porn star."- more on this story

Punk Legends D.O.A. To Release Smash The State DVD
PR reports: D.O.A. - 1978-1985: Smash The State DVD will hit stores on 9/18/07. This DVD from Canada's legendary punk pioneers features exciting full live tracks from the band's formative years: 1978 - 83. It includes all the raw emotion, activism, humor and deadly renditions of all their greatest songs from the classic line up of Joe Sh*thead, Chuck Biscuits, Randy Rampage and Dave Gregg.

Joe Sh*thead Keithley's comments on the DVD: "I really wanted people to see the original version of D.O.A. performing. You know, the completely raw band that went out and made a mark in this world. So I gathered together some of the best footage I could find and came up with Smash The State. Most of the footage is taken from shows in San Francisco and the East Bay. This makes a lot of sense, as San Francisco became D.O.A.'s home away from in the late seventies and in the eighties. - more on this story
