Whitney
Divorce |
TMZ reports: TMZ has obtained the court documents
filed by Whitney Houston seeking a legal separation from her husband of
14 years Bobby Brown.
The documents were filed Friday September
8 in Orange County Superior Court. Houston's rep confirmed to TMZ that
the Grammy award-winning singer will officially file for divorce next month.
The documents do not reveal Whitney's intentions with respect to custody

Buckcherry
Fights Back |
Buckcherry reports: In response to a lawsuit
filed September 7th in Los Angeles County Superior Court alleging that
rock band Buckcherry and its labels, Warner Music Group and Atlantic Records,
willingly allowed a 16-year-old girl into a music video shoot, Buckcherry's
attorney, Skip Miller of the Century City-based firm Miller Barondess,
LLP, has issued the following statement: "The attorneys for the plaintiff
(identified only as Jane Doe) have been talking to the press about this
case. We feel it is necessary to set the record straight. The claims in
this case are entirely unfounded and without merit. Strict precautions
were taken to ensure that only those over the age of 18 would gain access
to the music video shoot. The casting ad called for over-18 talent only,
signs were posted to that effect at the venue, and IDs were checked at
the door. This woman not only used a phony ID to gain access, but filled
out and signed a talent release form with what we now know to be false
birth date information to match her phony ID. She was later seen boasting
into the camera about her exploits in the video. This lawsuit was filed
almost a year after the video was shot, only after the financial success
of the band. We are going to defend this action vigorously and let the
evidence speak for itself."

Rockstar
Crowned |
antiMusic reports: In one of the most predictable
reality TV moves since the genre became a mainstay in primetime, Lukas
Rossi walked away with the gig of fronting the novelty band consisting
of Tommy Lee, Gilby Clark and Jason Newsted. The group will release an
album and tour this winter and who knows what they'll do after that. The
2nd and 3rd place singers (Toby Rand and Dilana Metals***inherface) will
likely land record deals and find their own success following the tour
where the contestants will open up for the "supergroup" which a court has
order to change their name from Supernova. No word on what they will call
themselves at this point. We like Metals***inherface but she didn't win.

Tool
Doesn't Suck |
MTV reports: Tool canceled a show Tuesday
night, calling off their gig at the AT&T Center in San Antonio because
singer Maynard James Keenan was too sick to perform. In an interview posted
on local radio station 99.5 KISS-FM's Web site, guitarist Adam Jones explained,
"It's very unfortunate 'cause when I get sick or [drummer Danny Carey]
or [bassist Justin Chancellor] get sick, we can still go on with the show.
But Maynard's got fever, he's coughing up stuff, he's hoarse and he doesn't
want everyone to think he sucks by going out and trying anyway.[see full

MTV
Idol |
PR reports: MTV Networks is one of the world's
leading creators in content across all media platforms, with more than
120 channels. Starting September 18 at 6pm ET/PT, MTV will premiere a brand
new series -- "Little Talent Show." MTV has put out the call for people
who believe they have what it takes to be considered a 'triple threat:'
the performer who can master the art of singing, dancing and acting.
Each episode begins with seven performers
who demonstrate their skills in three rounds of the competition, including
singing, dancing and acting. The series will utilize a rotating panel of
celebrity judges including stars from MTV's "Making The Band," "American
Idol," the world of soap operas, and more, who will critique the contestant's
performances and ultimately decide which two are most qualified to face-off
in the "Triple Threat Round." This final round is the ultimate challenge
where all three skills are combined and where only one performer will emerge
victorious - winning $500 and the chance to be named that day's most talented
performer. MTV's "Little Talent Show" premieres Monday, September 18. The
20 episode series will air daily, Monday-Thursday with repeats on Friday.

Paris
Blinks |
TMZ reports: TMZ has exclusive video of Paris
Hilton and Blink-182 frontman Travis Barker in an extended make-out session
at Manhattan club Marquee, and the couple looks extremely cozy as they
whisper in each other's ears, caress each other's necks, shoulders, and
chests.
After a long night of Fashion Week after-parties,
Hilton and Barker headed to exclusive hotspot Marquee, and took up residence
in one of the club's banquettes. Despite the considerable racket around
them, Paris and Travis talked intently with one another, and then engaged
in a long, intense kiss, oblivious to the pulsing throngs. Some time after
their lip-lock, Paris checks her mobile device and decides that she's got
other places to be, leaving Travis behind. [see full story for the video]-
