TMZ reports: One thing Madonna probably wasn't
expecting after her pilates workout - a man in nothing but a diaper.
Aaron Barschak, the self-named "comedy
terrorist," jumped in front of the Material Girl's car in London today
screaming "Adopt your local terrorist, adopt the Al-Qaeda" while sucking
on a binky.
Madonna paid no attention to the comedian
and drove off, prompting Barschak to say "I'm too old, too hairy for her

AP reports: Yoko Ono sued music company EMI
Group PLC and a subsidiary for $10 million Wednesday, claiming she was
cheated out of royalties due from the sale of music recordings by her late
husband, John Lennon.
The lawsuit, filed in Manhattan's state
Supreme Court, accuses EMI and Capitol Records Inc. of violating a half-dozen
agreements by "willfully and knowingly underreporting royalties" by hiding
the "true use and disposition of Lennon's recordings."[see full story for

with the departure of drummer Larry Gorman, a founding member of the band.
According to a label spokesperson, it's unclear at this point whether Gorman's

Anita Baker will sing before the first two games of the World Series at
Comerica Park.

over $80,000 for the VH1 Save The Music Foundation, which supports music
education programs across the country, by hosting motorcycle rides with
fans, accepting individual donations, and offering ticket packages throughout
the band's recent tour. QUEENSR�CHE frontman Geoff Tate is a friend of
Buell Motorcycles head Erik Buell, who made matching QUEENSR�CHE bikes
for Tate and QUEENSR�CHE guitarist Mike Stone to ride.
QUEENSR�CHE recently announced plans to
record and release a double live album recorded on its current "Operation:
Mindcrime II" tour. Tentatively titled "Operation: LIVECrime II", the set
will include a live production of the original "Mindcrime" on Disc 1 and

BW&BK reports: RUSH - 2112 Chosen For
Canadian Masterworks Preservation. "The prog-rock experiments of the band
RUSH are among works that should be preserved for future generations,"
says a committee tasked with saving the best in Canadian television, radio,
film and music. The band's 1976 album 2112, a unique blend of classic rock
and synthesizers that made Rush a sensation both in Canada and the United
States, is one of 12 cultural pieces named Thursday as MasterWorks by the

NBC have elected to cut controversial crucifixion footage from MADONNA's
concert special when it airs next month (NOV06).
The TV executives have chosen not to air

PR reports: ARMY OF ANYONE fans will finally
get the chance to see the band live when they head out this November for
their first-ever live shows. The group will kick off the dates November
18 in Philadelphia and play live shows through the end of the year before
embarking on a full-scale tour in 2007. "We can not wait to get out there
and play these songs in front of a live audience," says the band's Richard
Patrick. "We've had a great time doing live on air radio performances.
But to be out there in front of a live crowd, that's what we've all been
waiting for."

TuneLab reports: A sequel to last year's double-platinum
Johnny Cash best-of collection, The 'Legend Of Johnny Cash', will be released
on November 21. Simply titled 'The Legend Of Johnny Cash II', Billboard
reports that the new collection will include "Don't Take Your Guns To Town,"
his duet with June Carter on the Dylan classic "It Ain't Me Babe," "Daddy
Sang Bass" and covers of Tom Petty and Sting from the American series of
albums.

Settlement For CBS |
TuneLab reports: CBS Radio has settled with
New York State Attorney General Eliot Spitzer over payola allegations.
The radio giant has agreed to pay out $2 million, which will be distributed
through the Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors, to not-for-profit entities
to fund music education and appreciation programs in New York.
The company has also agreed to undertake
company-wide reforms, including immediately stopping the receiving of payment
from labels for airplay and the discontinuing of the practice of using
