Kaiser Chiefs Hit n Run Accident

. (thetripwire) Kaiser Chiefs' frontman is lucky to be alive. Ricky Wilson was crossing a street in Leeds, where he was suddenly struck by a car. The hit and run accident happened to Wilson this past weekend, somehow only walking away with somewhat minor injuries.

The band's official website posted the following statement: "He's the luckiest man alive, because he is still alive, it sounds daft, but a 'Ricky trademark jump' has probably saved his life. The jump meant he was flipped over the top of the car, hitting the windscreen, rather than getting trapped under it. He was crossing on a green pedestrian light."
