was pulled over for a traffic violation in a Los Angeles suburb on Saturday
about 9 p.m., according to a Burbank Police Department spokesperson. While

AP reports: Nike Inc. and Apple Computer Inc.
have teamed up to try to become a runner's best friend. The two companies
announced Tuesday they are jointly developing a wireless system so some
Nike shoes embedded with a sensor can communicate with Apple's iPod Nano
music player to track a runner's performance and help choreograph songs

his new album, To the Races, August 22 on Saddle Creek. This will be Bachmann's
first record under his own name, though he has released four albums and
performed under the moniker Crooked Fingers since 2000. This new album
is to be a departure from his 2005 LP, Dignity And Shame, which, according
to Alternative Press, "(gave the) stale singer-songwriter consortium a

Mammoth Press reports: Ticketmaster is going
to start auctioning off the "best tickets" to events online.
They claim it's to eliminate ticket scalping,
but it does't surprise anybody that Ticketmaster would do this, and it
just seems like a way for Ticketmaster to scalp the tickets themselves.

attack on GUNS N' ROSES frontman Axl Rose last week has been linked to
the rocker's current girlfriend. The singer is currently dating Diane O'Connor
� the ex-wife of Hilfiger's adopted brother, Michael � and both designers

Blabbermouth reports: Finnish goth-metallers
TO/DIE/FOR have set "Wounds Wide Open" as the title of their their fifth
album, tentatively due in October. The follow-up to 2005's "IV" was recorded
by Samu Oittinen at Fantom Studios and by Jari-Jukka Nippala at Sonic Image,
and will now be sent to Sweden's Abyss Studios where it will be mixed by

is reporting that the members of TAPROOT are considering a future that
may not include their current label, Atlantic Records, after the disappointing
sales of their third album, "Blue Sky Research". "The situation with Atlantic
is a little bit up in the air," Montague added. "There's a good chance

KNAC reports: Two members of the rock band
Great White have been subpoenaed as witnesses in the criminal case of Michael
Derderian, owner of The Station nightclub.
Derderian's trial is scheduled for July
31st in Providence. He's charged with involuntary manslaughter for the
deaths of 100 people during the February 20th, 2003 fire started by Great
White's pyrotechnics. In court papers filed last week, David Filice, Great
White's bass player, and Eric Powers, the band's drummer, were named as
