Gerbil Vs Rock Star |
"A lot of people in the group are skeptical about what kind of music they are playing. (Supernova) say they want to do something fresh and new, but then the first track we got to hear, a lot of people were just like, 'Eww, I'm not sure if I like this,' " says the 29-year-old Montreal-born pop-rocker.
"It sounded just like that same old, boys' rock 'n' roll kind of glam thing they said they weren't going to be doing. It was a bit surprising." [see goes on to further dis the group and their future, see the full story for that.] [see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story

What GNR Riot? |
"To my knowledge, there was never a bottle thrown at the stage while we were on it. Newcastle (in my opinion), was one of (if not the), best shows of the tour. It was also the hottest! It was a steam bath! The fans were amazing, and seemed 100% with us the entire show. It was a really magical show for me, until the very end. Produced by Dave Sardy - who helmed "GET BORN," as well as recent efforts by such bands as Oasis and Dirty Pretty Things - the album sees Jet again putting their own contemporary stamp on classic guitar-fuelled rock 'n' roll. The album's first single, "Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is," will hit radio August 7th.
Coinciding with the release of "SHINE ON," Jet will embark on a whirlwind tour of the U.S., slated to run from September 18th through October 6th. Dates will be announced shortly. The band will return to the States in late-November for a full-blown tour of North America. [check out the full story for a preview of the CD]- Click Here for the Full Story

Pet Vs Emo |
The Nashville quartet were approached to take part in the hugely popular tour this year but the bill just wasn't for them.
"It's not really our thing," Nathan Vaquez told the Washington Post. "We didn't want to be with all those other bands that are playing. All this emo-screamo stuff seems so overdone and pretentious and not real."[see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story
