Dylan CDs Suck |
"I don't know anybody who's made a record that sounds decent in the past 20 years, really. You listen to these modern records, they're atrocious, they have sound all over them. There's no definition of nothing, no vocal, no nothing, just like static Even these songs probably sounded ten times better in the studio when we recorded 'em. CDs are small. There's no stature to it." [see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story

"We're putting the finishing touches on it," reports group leader Dave Mustaine, who's also preparing for the Sept. 6 start of the second Gigantour traveling heavy metal festival. "We've got a little more work before it's finished, but it should be out some time next year."
Mustaine says an initial Oct. 31 release date for the album, MEGADETH's first as part of a new deal with Roadrunner Records, was "wishful thinking," and both the group and label felt a 2007 release was preferable to November or December of this year.[see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story

Police DVD Release Set |
EVERYONE STARES is a first-person account of The Police's ascent from obscurity to worldwide fame as well as an astute and sometimes hilarious commentary on the pop culture of the late 1970s and early 1980s. Culled from over 50 hours of Super 8 movies he shot during the acclaimed trio's heyday, the film offers an insider's perspective on touring, the other band members and the adoring fans that puts the audience in the drummer's seat. Copeland's kinetic and artful camerawork forms a visual ode to the rhythm of the road: a surreal swirl of hotel rooms, bus rides, press conferences and record signings punctuated by nightly flashes of electrifying on-stage exhilaration.[see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story

"The saddest thing I've ever had to do is announce that THE BANNER is no more. After 7 years of playing, writing and recording I've decided its best for the band to simply put it to bed. Some of the members have decided that the fulltime touring lifestyle just isn't for them and I cant blame them.[see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story
