MTV reports: Lil Jon filed a federal lawsuit
on Monday in Atlanta seeking upwards of $30 million from Larry Flynt Productions
for allegedly using his name and likeness without permission for the adult
film "Phat Tuesday."
According to the rapper's lawsuit, LFP
� which owns Hustler magazine and its empire of other print titles and
films � acquired promotional onstage and backstage footage from another
company, Category 5, which shot a February 2004 Lil Jon & the East
Side Boyz concert in New Orleans. Before using this footage, Category 5
was supposed to clear it with TVT Records but did not, the suit says, and
it asks for $75,000 in damages for that breach alone.[see full story for

MTV reports: Courtney Love is saddened by
the tell-all her mom, Linda Carroll, is planning to publish in January.
Love's manager said they find it "astonishing and profoundly depressing"
that Carroll makes the allegations she does about Love's childhood in "Her
Mother's Daughter," considering Carroll "abandoned her daughter when she

Blabbermouth reports: RollingStone.com is
reporting that former STATIC-X and DOPE guitarist Tripp Eisen has pled
guilty to having oral sex with a minor and will serve one year in California
State prison on that charge.
On June 24 Eisen accepted a plea bargain
in California for "having oral sex with a person younger than fourteen
years old and more than ten years younger than him," stemming from a February
arrest, according to Orange County Superior Court manager Gai Spickard.[see

Benjamin drummer Jeremy Hummel filed suit against his former band-mates
this week saying they unjustly kicked him out of the group and have refused
to share profits from songs he helped make. The suit lists eleven counts
against guitarist/vocalist Benjamin Burnley, guitarist Aaron Fincke and
bassist Mark Klepaski with each count requesting at least $750,000 in damages.
The band's manager, Larry Mazer, and ABC Corporation are also named in
