Beatles
DVD |
Kayos reports: Eagle Rock Entertainment, the
leading independent source for high quality music audio/visual programming,
on October 4 will release The Beatles: From Liverpool to San Francisco,
a DVD documentary covering the utter chaos and sheer euphoria known as
Beatlemania that swept up four young men from Liverpool and the rest of
the world from 1963 to 1966. Produced by Eagle Media Productions, the documentary
features vintage news footage and rare TV interviews with the band.
Culled from an extensive archive of interview
footage shot during those three years by British news organizations ITN,
Reuters and British Pathe, we see a quartet of working class English rockers
bemused by the worldwide furor that their music, image, and distinct personalities
inspired. From England to America to Western Europe to the Far East to
Australia, the Beatles' albums, singles and tours created a seismic reaction
that has never quite been equaled. [see full story for more]-
