Cent Murder Plot |
E! reports: If you ask the government, Murder
Inc. apparently took its name a bit too seriously.
Federal agents and prosecutors are probing
whether a notorious Queens drug lord and employees of the "world's most
dangerous music company" conspired to assassinate rival rapper 50 Cent
and may have been behind the 2002 slaying of Run-D.M.C. deejay Jam Master
Jay. [see full story for more]- Click

Hoobastank
Vs Velvet Revolver |
Blabbermouth reports: HOOBASTANK singer Doug
Robb has told MTV.com that the band's brand-new song "If I Were You ..."
, which may end up being the title track of the group's next album, was
written from a couple of seemingly unrelated experiences: watching ESPN
and touring with VELVET REVOLVER.
" 'If I Were You ...' was really inspired
by, um, the NHL strike. Not like 'Oh, I'm going to write a song about hockey!'
but watching all that and going on tour with VELVET REVOLVER you see
all these guys who have so much and don't appreciate it," he said. "They
seem to have forgotten where they came from. Actually, let me rephrase
that: Four of those guys were the coolest ever, one of them is just in
his own world. And I'll leave it at that."[Wonder who that might be? see

charges after two women were urinated on at a recent John Labatt Centre

The women felt liquid splashing against
the backs of their legs at a DEF LEPPARD concert August 16, police said,
and turned around to see a man behind them urinating. The disgusting incident,
however, wasn't over there.
"It wasn't just once - it was twice," Const.
Amanda Pfeffer said. "The one girl saw it and minutes later, he did it
again." [see full story for more]- Click

CinderelDuh |
BW&BK reports: Wisconsin-Music (www.wisconsin-music.com)
recently spoke with CINDERELLA leader Tom Keifer. The following is an excerpt
from the interview:
Q: The 60's had Mick Jagger, the 70's had
Steven Tyler, and in my opinion the 80's have you. You all seem like you're
cut from the same cloth, both in performance and even in appearance.
A: "Well, I take that as a major compliment.
I just want to go on the record and say that you said that, I didn't. (laughs)
Both of them was obviously a big influence on me. I think that I listen
to a lot of things that probably influenced them. Like old blues, gospel,
and R&B records, I just love that whole sound.[see full story for more]-
