MTV reports: [Not music related but an important
story] A Jacksboro, Tennessee, high school student allegedly shot and killed
an assistant principal and seriously wounded his principal and another
administrator on Tuesday before being taken into custody.
A 15-year-old freshman was arrested in
the death of Campbell County Comprehensive High School Assistant Principal
Ken Bruce and is also accused of shooting Assistant Principal Jim Pierce,
who is in critical condition, and Principal Gary Seals, who has been updated
to stable, according to the Campbell County Sheriff's Department. Seals
was apparently shot as he attempted to stop the teen... [see the full story

Aversion reports: Mana "China" Nishiura, drummer
for DMBQ, was killed in a roll-over accident while her band traveled between
two tour dates.
Nishiura was killed when DMBQ's van was
involved in a roll-over accident while traveling on I-95 in Delaware while
en route from Baltimore to Brookyln. Also severely injured in the wreck

FMQB reports: While The Beatles' catalog still
remains missing from digital music stores, John Lennon's solo work is set
to be released to all online retailers in a few weeks. The new Lennon greatest
hits compilation, Working Class Hero, was already made available on the
Web as of this week. His entire solo catalog will then be put online starting
December 6 in the U.S. (and the day before in the U.K.). However, Lennon's
music will not be sold through Apple's popular iTunes Music Store, due
to the ongoing legal feud between the computer company and the Beatles'

Tony Iommi told Launch he is not happy that SABBATH are not yet inducted
into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame. "I'm pissed off about that," he said.

trumpet saying we are this and we are that. I'm not that kind of person
but I really think we deserve... you know, to be in that. Because without

Sammet has rejected Internet reports that he has committed suicide. In
a posting on the band's official web site, Sammet writes, "Wow, you turn
your computer on, surf the Internet and find out that you're dead before
you even realize it yourself. I just felt a little cold and wondered why
people around seemed to not pay attention to me anymore. But I'd never
thought in a million years that it's THAT serious. However, I am alive
and well and it's only the second time this year that people think I'm

while there is this bit of down time. I needed to keep busy. So new is

PANTERA Tribute"), DOWNSHIFT and THE LIFELESS DESIGN are among the confirmed
bands for "The 2005 Darrell Abbott Memorial Show", set to take place Saturday,
December 10 at Chez Paree in Carter Lake, Iowa. All proceeds from the event
will be donated to the Dimebag Darrell Memorial Fund, which has been set
up to help the victims of the Alrosa Villa shootings in Columbus, Ohio
on December 8, 2004, which took the life of late PANTERA/DAMAGEPLAN guitarist
"Dimebag" Darrell Abbott, DAMAGEPLAN's head of security, Jeffrey "Mayhem"
Thompson, an employee of the club, Erin Halk, and a member of the audience,
