Wanna Deal?
press release reports: Sunland Records, a newly launched independent record company, is now accepting submissions to add to its roster. The label, which has offices in Beverly Hills and Sunland, CA was originally conceived by CEO and founder Ricky Kay as a vehicle to give voice to aggressive, underground artists that are looking for broader exposure in an artist-friendly environment. Already on tap for release on June 7th is the alternative nu-metal band EVEN X's debut album, Angry Mirror, which was mixed by former MACHINE HEAD and SOULFLY guitarist Logan Mader. Mader, who has worked with PUDDLE OF MUDD and JUNKIE XL, has signed an agreement with Sunland Records to produce artists for the label.

Currently the label is negotiations with two exiting new bands to be announced shortly, but is always on the hunt for new talent. To be considered, acts should be hard working, have a solid live following and at least one professionally recorded release to their credit (EPs are acceptable). The label is also interested in securing the rights to already completed masters for release. To submit material, e-mail the Sunland Records' Director of Creative Affairs, Richie Rivera, at [email protected] with a link to where your music can be heard online. If interested, the label will request a promotional kit.[see full story for more]- Click Here for the Full Story
