E! reports: Assault was the case for Snoop
Dogg--if you believe a man who says he suffered a beat-down at the hands
of the rapper and his crew during a weekend concert.
Richard Monroe says he was seriously roughed
up Saturday night during the Seattle stop of Snoop and the Game's How the
West Was Won tour.
The 24-year-old man says he was invited
up on stage by the two Southern California-based rap stars toward the end
of the show. When he reached the platform, Monroe says he was kicked, punched
and stripped of his diamond earrings by Snoop and the Game's crew. [see

Contact Music reports: British rocker ELVIS
COSTELLO has refused to reimburse fans for tickets to his gig last Wednesday
(25MAY05) - despite complaints he kept them waiting for two hours by watching
his favourite soccer team LIVERPOOL win the CHAMPION'S LEAGUE FINAL.
The OLIVER'S ARMY star was due to perform
at Britain's University Of East Anglia, but infuriated his audience by
turning up late after watching the historic match.
And Costello further infuriated fans, by
swearing at them for booing him when he finally took to the stage, prompting

bbc reports: Singer Brian Harvey is in a critical
condition in an east London hospital after he fell under the wheels of
his own car, police have said.
The former East 17 pop star was crushed
underneath his Mercedes convertible outside his home in Walthamstow.
The incident, which happened in the early
hours of Tuesday morning, follows two alleged suicide attempts. [see full

of administering an intoxicating agent to a child was reduced yesterday
(31MAY05) by the judge presiding over the troubled singer's child molestation
trial - thus improving the prosecution's chances of winning the case.
JUDGE RODNEY MELVILLE lessened the charge
against the BAD star from a serious crime to a misdemeanour, because he's
not convinced Jackson gave his accuser GAVIN ARVIZO alcohol with intent

White Stripes -currently in the midst of an extensive tour of Central and
South America--are lining up a late-summer trek through North America to
back their upcoming album, "Get Behind Me Satan," due to hit U.S. stores

unveiled the Slash action figure, which is scheduled to hit store shelves
� the toy aisle, not the music aisle � in late September.
One of the best-known, most-talented and
easily recognizable artists in music, Slash (VELVET REVOLVER, ex-GUNS N'
ROSES) is a human action figure just waiting to happen. McFarlane Toys
was happy to come to the rescue and put their sculptors to work re-creating
Slash in 6-inch form.
Two separate versions of the Slash action
figure will be released, similar to McFarlane Toys' initial Jimi Hendrix
