Lydia
Lunch DVD |
MVD reports: Music Video Distributors and
Atavistic are pleased to announce the home viewing release of Lydia Lunch
- Willing Victim for worldwide distribution on DVD.
Lydia Lunch is a prolific and influential
performer whose work has stretched over 25 years. Lunch has expressed her
nihilistic aggression and sexuality as a musician, poet, novelist, playwright,
actress, director and visual artist. She has worked with members of Sonic
Youth, Foetus, Swans, The Birthday Party, and Einsturzende Neubauten, and
fronted important no-wave band Teenage Jesus and The Jerks, as well as
Beirut Slump, 8 Eyed Spy, and 13.13. No other artist of the 20th century
has fought, forged, punched, and sculpted her own artistic vision in such
a uniquely original way. Defying categorization, Lydia Lunch actively has
conquered new territories, and has gained international recognition for
the innovative quality of her work. [see full story for more]-
