Then they tried to do a record with Dave [Lee Roth] three times, and they never got it done. So I was seeing that coming. Launching a new tennis centre in Croatia last week, Subliminal Records head honcho Erick Morillo was DJing with Lee on percussion at a party attended by tennis great John McEnroe and the rich and famous locals. According to a local spokesman, the owner of the club didn't appreciate Tommy's performance: "The owner didn't think Tommy played long enough, and just wasn't into it," the spokesman said. "Suddenly, on their way to the after-party, Tommy was surrounded by Croatian armed heavies, and Erick, sizing up the situation, urged pal Tommy to leave with him immediately on his private chartered plane."
