Audioslave
/ Seether Tour |
Meyer PR reports: Continuing their streak
of success, Wind-up recording artists Seether have achieved a new milestone
-- an arena tour. The hard rockers have been tapped as the main support
for the first official Audioslave U.S. tour kicking off on September 24th
in Bakersfield, CA and running through November.
The members of Seether are excited about
the opportunity to tour with Audioslave, a band they hold in high esteem.
Growing up in his native South Africa, Seether front man Shaun Morgan states,
"The members of Audioslave are such a critical part of my history as a
musician. They inspired me as a kid right down to the core of how I learned
to play music. The fact that I'll get to spend every night watching these
guys live is the most exciting part of our getting this tour." [see full

All Cost Debut |
Press Release reports: COMBAT Records announces
the release of the first full-length album by At All Cost titled "It's
Time To Decide," on September 20th. The recently resurrected COMBAT Records
is a joint venture between KOCH Records and Entertainment Services Unlimited.
Austin, TX-based At All Cost (Trey Ramirez,
Andrew Collins, Grant Anderson, Bobby Andrews and Michael Theobald) previously
released an EP on Fiddler Records. Alternative Press gave the EP 4 out
of 5 stars, and noted, "... it's the little things that set AAC apart."
The band recorded "It's Time To Decide"
with Rory Phillips (Recover, The Rise, The Hire), and the album fuses the
intensity of metal, the energy of rock and roll, the ideology of a progressive
intellectual movement and the spirit of experimentation, to push the boundaries
of the saturated metal/hardcore genre.- Click

Twisted
Pinkburst |
Press Release reports: August 26, 2005 Epiphone
announced the new Jay Jay French Twisted Pinkburst Signature Guitar that
that instantly distinguishes its as a Twisted Sister inspired model. Based
on a Les Paul Standard from Epiphone's prestigious Elitist series, the
Twisted Sister inspired model sports the glam rock band's Bone logo on
the headstock and guitarist Jay Jay French's name on the truss rod cover.
Twisted Sister came into the rock-n-roll
world in 1987 as a New York based Glam band with theatrics rivaling KISS
and a shock factor like none other. Their songs "I Wanna Rock" and "We're
Not Gonna Take It Anymore" were hugely successful and the band's extensive
touring kept them at the top of the charts. Lead guitarist Jay Jay French's
passion for Epiphone guitars goes beyond the stage and is now captured
in the Epiphone "Twisted Pinkburst" Jay Jay French Signature Model. -

Which
Moyet? |
Press Release reports: Alison Moyet's been
a card-carrying punk, a blues wailer, and a dance-floor diva. She's taken
one of the most expressive voices in pop music and used it to achingly
depict the depths of despair and the unchecked joys of love, selling 20
million albums worldwide along the way. And now, with her new album, Voice
(in stores September 6th on Sanctuary Records), Moyet takes her career
down another startling path. Eschewing her own compositions, Moyet recorded
standards and contemporary pop songs by brilliant songwriters George Gershwin,
Elvis Costello and even Burt Bacharach. For an artist who normally writes
her own songs, Voice allowed Moyet to immerse her creativity into her vocals,
tackling tones and phrasing that were surprisingly new to her after 25
years of worldwide success.- Click
