Ink
Not Mink |
Peta reports: With his new album Tommyland:
the Ride released this week and his TV reality show Tommy Lee Goes to College
set to debut tonight on NBC, Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee is
a very busy man these days. But Lee wasn't too busy to shoot a risqué
anti-fur ad for the folks at peta2-PETA's youth division-when they caught
up with him during the band's recent "Red, White, and Crüe" tour.
In the ad-tagged "Ink, Not Mink"-Lee poses wearing nothing but his tattoos
and urges, "Be comfortable in your own skin and let animals keep theirs."
The ad was shot in London by fashion photographer
Mary McCartney, daughter of longtime PETA supporter Sir Paul McCartney.[see

Bag
Debut |
press release reports: If Beck and Bob Dylan
had a baby boy, and raised him spoon-fed on toxic waste, they would name
him BAG.
Every once in a while an artist comes along
that breaks the mold, an artist who fails to fit into today's cookie cutter
world, an artist unwavering in his fierce commitment to creativity and
unyielding in his refusal to compromise. That artist is BAG. An extraordinary
collection of quirky and twisted musical tomfoolery, BAG's self-titled
debut is the inaugural release on KISS founder Gene Simmons' recently activated
Simmons Records/Sanctuary imprint.[see full story for more]-
