Some Cities, the follow-up to the band's 2002 breakthrough album The Last Broadcast, entered the British album charts at #1. Initially inspired by the profound changes Doves saw in their Manchester hometown, the album's wide-ranging texture runs from inner-city grit to celestial sweep and everywhere in between.
