Media lawyers argued the September sealing order violated the state and federal constitutions and court rules because there was no public notification or opportunity for a hearing. The state argued the law exempts records sealed by court order.
Fulton County District Attorney Paul Howard said in a statement he believes the records should remain sealed but that he will follow the instructions of the court. Read more here.
The duo had the following to say about the collaboration featured in the new fight club-style video, "We're always looking for that specific feeling of happiness and rage at the same time in our music. We really want people to be smiling while they're hurting themselves. This time we think we really nailed it!"
Hale adds, "I am a fan of the strange--and Dada Life expresses themselves in a way that connects with my own 'weird. I want to thank them for having me on this track and letting me lend my rock n' roll swagger to their inspiring music! 'Tic, Tic, Tic' is eternally in my head and heart. Hope everyone enjoys!" 'My goal at this point in my life is to promote positivity and love," he continues. "When I stop in a town and visit with people, they will realize that I am not just talking the talk, but I am walking the walk. We all need more positivity in our lives. I'm ready to bring it." Stream the song here.

"I worked with a string section and my band to create this ultra vibey, late night version. Making the video for Meteorites was almost as interesting to work on because I had to learn the song backwards and sped up to create the slow surreality of the shots."

Allen will be kicking off the North American headline tour on March 31st at the Workplay Theatre in Birmingham, AL. We were sent the following details about the new album and the path Allen had to travel to make it a reality:
The new album was recorded in Nashville with producers Konrad Snyder (Mat Kearney, Owl City), Ian Fitchuk (James Bay) and Grammy winner Brown Bannister (Amy Grant, Steven Curtis Chapman).
On New Year's Day in 2013, he and his then-pregnant wife Katy were in a head-on collision that left the singer/songwriter/guitarist with a career-threatening shattered wrist. In the two years that followed, he underwent three surgeries, recorded his third album, and toured relentlessly-including a two-month-long stint that started just one week after his accident. He ultimately retreated from the whirlwind and immersed himself in a songwriting spell that yielded more than 70 new tracks.
"I felt like I needed to sift through my life and try to figure out what really I wanted to say on this album," he says. "I'm really proud of this record and excited for the fans to hear it! I think they're really going to love it."
In the aftermath of his accident, Allen devoted himself to relearning guitar, adjusting his technique to adapt to the lack of movement in his wrist. "At first I thought I'd never be able to play again," he recalls. "But once I got my cast off, I spent more time playing than I ever had in my life. Through all that I realized that I shouldn't take my craft for granted, so I really focused on developing it and becoming even stronger as a guitar player than I ever was before."
Oprea, responded by reposting the post with the caption "don't let others bully you!" That's when Underwood stepped in. "That man obviously has a big problemwith himself," Underwood posted. "I only hope he can learn to like himself someday so he can be an adult and stop bullying others for bettering themselves!"
Oprea considers the man's attitude to be indicative of a large problem, writing on her blog, "This is exactly why many people don't embrace an active lifestyle in ordinary situations: They are worried that they willdraw attention and, even worse, ridicule. Keeping yourself active and healthy in any way you can should be cheered and admired! I would love to see the day when there are more people running laps around the soccer field than there are people just sitting and watching I don't want the choice to be made for them because of bullies." The museum, located in Nashville, has a tradition of featuring country artists still relatively young in the industry. It currently features exhibits on Keith Urban and Dierks Bentley.
The exhibit promises a career-spanning look at Shelton, starting with his move from Oklahoma to Nashville when he was a teenager, through his country music debut and now his time as a coach on NBC's The Voice. Read Blake's comments about the exhibit here.
'Hot and Bothered' came into this world as a Motown inspired drum and bass loop I found on Garageband one fine day. The loops made my head bob and booty shake, which is key for any song I create. At the time, I had a huge crush on a guy. I'm super shy, so I used this song to get my feelings out. I tried to think of smooth and clever compliments. "Give my regards to the woman that made ya." Man, that line is smooth as hell. If someone approached me with that line right there, my panties would drop.
This song pretty much wrote itself. I was just a conduit for the lustful spirit that flowed through me. The melody was super easy. I usually come up with the lyrics and melody at the same time. I'm not someone who can sing a bunch of "da da da di dums" over music and write lyrics later. It all comes together.
When I recorded the song, my producer, Josh Moore, wanted to get the most lustful vocal performance he could from me. He did so by printing out pictures of Lenny Kravitz and Chris Hemsworth and taping them to my microphone stand. He told me to imagine myself singing to them in a crowded club. Brilliant technique. Lenny and Chris are so damn fine. I could sing lustfully to them all day.
Hearing is believing. Now that you know the story behind the song, listen for yourself here and learn more about Tameca right here!
