Brown released the following statement, "My dad always said nothing good ever happens when you stay out late. It's a lesson I learned the hard way last week, being in the wrong place at the wrong time. I attended a private gathering at a Miami-area hotel and had only been there for a short time when police officers arrived and arrested two people in the room who had just showed up a few minutes before.
"I did not know these people and had no idea that there were drugs in their possession. I cooperated fully with the authorities and am not part of any ongoing police investigation. Everyone is responsible for their actions, and I regret using poor judgment and putting myself in that position.
"I am focused on continuing to make great music for my fans, and on representing my family and community well with our philanthropic work. And next time I'll make sure to remember what my dad taught me. - Zac"
The three performed three songs together including "Straight Outta Compton" (the title track to their biopic and 1988 album), "Dopeman" (where they were joined by Ice Cube's son and biopic star O'Shea Jackson) and "F The Police", according to Radio.com.
The N.W.A. stars were not the only special guests to join Ice Cube during his set. Common hit the stage for a performance of their Barbershop soundtrack collaboration "Real People."
Snoop Dogg also made an appearance, joining Ice Cube for a performance of their collaboration "Go To Church" and the set was capped off with all of the special guests returning for a rendition of Ice Cube's "It Was a Good Day," according to the report.
The special show will be taking place at the stadium on September 9th. Aldean's Six String Circus Tour will be getting underway on May 19th in Rogers, AR at the Walmart AMP.
The tour will feature support from Thomas Rhett and A Thousand Horses and Aldean has announced dates that will run until October 1st when the trek concludes in Bristow, VA at Jiffy Lube Live.
Aldean had the following to say, "It was really cool to go over and play Australia for the first time last month, but there's nothing like shows at home. The guys and I are ready to get back out there for the summer in the amphitheaters. That's always a party waiting to happen with us!" See the tour dates here.
The concert special was recorded at the Radio City Music Hall in New York City on November 17, 2015. The new broadcast will include five previously unaired song performances.
The new special will include Adele's performances of "Water Under the Bridge," "One and Only," "Hometown Glory," "Chasing Pavements" and "Daydreamer," which were captured during the concert.
The original hour-long broadcast took place on the television network on December 14th and the new extended 90-minute special is set to air on May 6th at 8 P.M.
The new song reflects what she's been sharing in interviews of late. Growing up, Trainor admits she was an incredibly insecure teenager, but she's since come to accept and embrace who she is both physically and mentally.
The song picks up on that self-confidence. In the opening verse, Trainor sings, "They gon' say all kind of things/ They make jokes about my name/ They gon' try to clip my wings/ But I'm gon' to fly."
The short song features Lunchmoney Lewis, who contributes more than just a verse and appears throughout the song. On the chorus, which takes the title and restates it as a mantra of sorts that pops against a jazzy upright bass line, Lewis and Trainor sing, "I love me/ I love me/ I don't know 'bout you/ But I love me." The duo premiered the new song on Zane Lowe's Beats1 Radio show last week and followed up by posting an online stream of the Mike WiLL Made It produced track. Check it out here.
The "SremmLife 2" album is set to be released on June 24th and will feature 14-tracks in all, including special appearances from Lil Jon, Juicy J, Kodak Black, Bobo Swae, Imxcd and Riff 3x. See the tracklisting here.
The song arrives via a trippy music video that would make Lewis Carroll proud.'Just Like Fire" was co-written by Pink, Max Martin, Shellback and Oscar Holter and produced by Martin, Shellback and Holter specifically for the film.
This is the first time Pink has written an original song for a live action feature film. Earlier this year, Pink recorded a cover version of the iconic Jefferson Airplane song 'White Rabbit," for the film. Check out the new song here.
The 'Heartbreaker' deluxe edition box set will be released as 180gm 4LP/DVD and 2CD/DVD Deluxe Editions, as well as a digital version that will feature 35 tracks.
According to the announcement, the original album has been remastered for these reissues and the audio portion of the box sets will include the original 15-track studio album along with demos and previously unreleased outtakes.
The DVD will feature previously unreleased footage of Adams' October 2000 October of 2000 solo acoustic concert that took place at the Mercury Lounge in New York City.
The set will also feature "a glossy booklet of rare and unseen photos with liner notes written by producer, friend and collaborator Ethan Johns," according to the announcement. See the tracklisting here.
Urie joined Halsey for performances of her song "New Americana" as well as his 2005 hit, "I Write Sins Not Tragedies." and video of the jam has been posted online.
Followers of Urie's Periscope feed will recall the singer covered "New Americana" last year during an impromptu piano session in his living room. But how and whey did Halsey and Brendon find friendship? The two became friends after the New Jersey born singer, a self-admitted fan of Panic!, reached out to Urie last November sheerly out of fandom.
The two apparently clicked instantly, and as MTV points out, quickly became best friends, even celebrated Urie's 29th birthday together last Tuesday. Watch the performance here.
Drake urged the crowd to "make some noise for the greatest woman I've ever known in my life. She goes by the name of Rihanna," and joined her for a duet of their hit collaboration "Work," which included some heavy twerking. During the set, Drake also performed his 2015 hit "Jumpman."
To tease his upcoming album Views From The 6, Drake released "One Dance," along with Kanye West and Jay-Z collaboration "Pop Style," earlier this month. Read more here.
On the red carpet of the Los Angeles premiere of Marvel's Captain America: Civil War, Coker told Entertainment Weekly, 'It's got a '90s hip-hop vibe, but it's really forward-thinking.
"We have Adrian Younge and Ali Shaheed Muhammad doing the scoring for us. We have a lot of different musical appearances, but at the same time, we've got the Marvel action." Read more here.
The quartet, made up of all brothers, have been playing the song in their shows for some time, as bassist/singer Dylan Kongos tells Radio.com. "It was actually written by [drummer] Jesse, who sings lead on it; it was written quite a long time ago. When Lunatic took off for us in the States, we were kind of already in the writing process for Egomaniac. We toured with this song and played it live and we got a sense for how the crowd reacted to it. The groove got people moving so we knew it had potential."
However, something about the live version was getting lost, so the band dressed it up with some studio magic: "Recording it was a difficult process, because the live version was not coming across as we wanted it to. We changed it up a bit and now it's got a really good mix of something studio-sounding and the live energy. The arrangement changed: when we played it live, we had a long slide guitar solo in the middle of the song; it worked live [but not in the studio]. We also added layered drums: Jesse played every African drum and every western drum kit to make a big huge sound." Read more here.
