Meghan Trainor Streaming New Song 'I Love Me'
. The new song reflects what she's been sharing in interviews of late. Growing up, Trainor admits she was an incredibly insecure teenager, but she's since come to accept and embrace who she is both physically and mentally. The song picks up on that self-confidence. In the opening verse, Trainor sings, "They gon' say all kind of things/ They make jokes about my name/ They gon' try to clip my wings/ But I'm gon' to fly." The short song features Lunchmoney Lewis, who contributes more than just a verse and appears throughout the song. On the chorus, which takes the title and restates it as a mantra of sorts that pops against a jazzy upright bass line, Lewis and Trainor sing, "I love me/ I love me/ I don't know 'bout you/ But I love me."
