The roof at the Stade Velodrome stadium fell apart on top of several workers. One worker was killed and two of the injured were seriously hurt, said Maurice Di Nocera, Marseille city councilor in charge of major events, said on France-Info radio. The seriously injured were an American and a Briton, said the Marseille central fire department. The killed worker was French. No identities were released.

A judge read out the divorce decree for "Fielder-Civil B. v Winehouse A.J." along with those of other estranged couples at a brief Family Court hearing. Neither 25-year-old Winehouse nor Fielder-Civil, 27, was in court Thursday. The divorce becomes final after six weeks and a day.

The singer's insurance company has agreed to pay an undisclosed sum to Mallory Ham, a woman who was driving one of the cars involved in the accident, reports E! Online. The crash occurred on the 405 freeway on December 30, 2006 when Brandy lost control of her Land Rover and struck a car driven by Awatef Aboudihaj, 38, who died as a result.

This trip marks their first return to the states since their coast to coast US trek that kicked off with a raucous filled SXSW in March and ended with performance to a packed crowd at the annual Coachella Music Festival in Indio, CA all in support of the acclaimed debut album To Lose My Life. In addition to Lollapalooza White Lies are also confirmed to perform at a number of other major festivals including Benicassim, Glastonbury, Reading and Leeds and T in the Park. Ducati motorcycles and Alfaromeo lent out their support via their newest models for the production. The Connecticut-based performer signed with Rock Ridge Music in 2008, and hit the studio with label President Jason Spiewak in New York City to record his full-length debut. In addition to the NYC sessions, Andrew traveled South to work with Chris Henderson of 3 Doors Down fame at his Rivergate Studios in Hendersonville, Tennessee.
