The single's jump also marks the largest leap to #1in the chart's 50-year history. Kelly previously held the #1 spot on the Hot 100 in 2002 with "A Moment Like This," which went from #52 to #1. In addition, the song holds #1 spot on the Digital Chart with 279,605 sold in its first week. This is the 3rd biggest digital song debut for a female artist.

British Judge David Radford said the 47-year-old former Culture Club frontman, whose real name is George O'Dowd, was guilty of "gratuitous violence." O'Dowd's lawyer said his client and the escort had both behaved like "drug-crazed idiots" and that O'Dowd's substance abuse problems were a contributing factor.

Zoe Griffin from The Mirror apparently found herself on the wrong end of a Kelly Osbourne fury attack last year. According to reports, Kelly took offence at a column claiming that her fiance Luke Worrall didn't know what an earthquake was and slapped Griffin across the face. We're not making this up, although to be honest we sort of wish we were. Anyway, as MTV reports, the police have finally got around to arresting Kelly Osbourne for assault: Although authorities wouldn't disclose her name, they released a statement about the incident. "I can confirm that a 24-year-old woman attended a central London police station by appointment at 3 p.m. on January 2 � She was arrested for common assault relating to an alleged incident in Soho in the early hours of 29th August 2008

Saying the title phrase quickly out loud produces a sound akin to spelling out the F-word, said PTC president Tim Winter. "There is no misinterpreting the lyrics to this song, and it's certainly not about a girl named Amy," he said of the track, the third single from Spears' new Jive album, "Circus." "It's one thing for a song with these lyrics to be included on a CD so that fans who wish to hear it can do so, but it's an entirely different matter when this song is played over the publicly-owned airwaves, especially at a time when children are likely to be in the listening audience," Winter says.

Entertainment Weekly claims that two people close to the Oscar-nominated actor, who made a much-hyped three-song debut as a rapper on Jan. 16 in Vegas, has created an Andy Kaufman-style hoax that is being documented by his brother-in-law Casey Affleck The hoax is said to be motivated by a desire to lampoon actors who take themselves too seriously and the media that follows their every move.
