For the first time ever one of Joe Bonamassa's Keeping the Blues Alive at Sea cruises is headed to Alaska. The September 2025 event will take place aboard the Norwegian Cruise Line ship Norwegian Jade as she sails from Seattle to Ketchikan and Sitka in Alaska and Victoria, British Columbia in Canada before returning to Seattle.
And Joe has just announced the first group of artists who'll be accompanying him on the voyage, including the legendary Little Feat, Marcus King and Marc Broussard. Also in the initial talent lineup are Shemekia Copeland, The Record Company, The Heavy Heavy, Sue Foley, Nikki Hill, Larry McCray, Vanessa Collier, Jimmy Vivino, Jade MacRae, Ariel Posen, The Cold Stares, Jeremie Albino and Angelique Francis. Generally each artist performs at least two shows and Bonamassa is set to play two exclusive shows. More artists will be announced as the sailing date gets closer.
On top of all the great music, the Norwegian Jade has lots of amenities to keep cruisers happy including a jogging track, casino, library, internet cafe, fitness center and sports court, spa, pool, video arcade and much more. Of course there are many places to eat and drink on board too, and cruisers can take exciting shore excursions when the ship pulls in to port. Bonamassa's cruises always sell out and this one will be no different; interested parties can register now for cabin pre-sale here.
