The inaugural Art-In-Action camp is being called the "Warped Tour of Summer Camps" and for those who wish to follow their passion in action sports, music, digital media and more, that's probably a pretty good description. The event, which takes place in Woodward, Pennsylvania (about an hour away from Harrisburg, Altoona or Hershey) is put on by the folks at Loyal to the Craft, whose founder Mike Ciprari says, "As a teenager music, arts and action sports were my greatest inspirations. I dedicated myself to the scene, following the Vans Warped Tour, setting up a booth to showcase my drum brand, and forging connections along the way. Now, being able to create an epic week bringing back that same type of community to the next generation of kids is truly a dream come true. My goal is for campers to build lifelong relationships and leave equipped with the tools, knowledge and motivation to pursue their dreams relentlessly." And there will certainly be ample opportunity for campers to do just that; here are some of the luminaries who'll be in attendance that campers can interact with.

Recker

Recker Eans, known professionally simply as Recker, is an independent artist, drummer, producer and Emmy-nominated actor. He's performed live with touring bands such as The Used, Pop Evil, Pennywise, The Wrecks and others. And oh yeah, Recker is just 13-years-old! The budding star will kick off the festivities by playing a DJ set during check in and then a drum and DJ set during the evening bonfire and opening ceremony. Recker will also be on hand all week performing additional drum sets, helping campers with instruments and participating in camp activities.

Raue

Raue is a duo out of Santa Cruz, California who have a sound that mashes up new era grunge with alternative rock. The duo, comprised of 20-year-old Paige Kalenian and 19-year-old Jax Huckle, released a new EP back in May called Or Forever Hold Your Peace... and they're slated to go on tour with The Used this fall. Raue will perform three times during the camp and they'll also host a recording session where campers can learn about what goes into songwriting and recording.

BURN THE JUKEBOX

A teen alt/pop/rock band from Wilkes-Barre, PA, BURN THE JUKEBOX has a sizable fan base that follows them on social media. They've achieved this by showcasing their repertoire of original tunes and cover tunes, all of which celebrate a new era in pop/rock dance music that is currently resonating with fans all around the world. BURN THE JUKEBOX will be integrated into the Art-In-Action curriculum so that they can share stories of success with campers while also offering hands-on instruction in music. They will perform live during the camp's Ice Cream Social and Knockout Tournament events.

Also appearing will be Ekoh who has a unique sound that blends hip-hop with alt rock and everything in-between, a vibe that is earning him a loyal following as he takes that scene by storm. Says Ekoh, "My music is about embracing real life; the struggle, the good times, the frustration, the anger and the heartache. It's all real because it's all true. I have felt and experienced it all."

Art-In-Action Camp attendees will be able to have a full week of fun while also gaining knowledge that will further their career objectives. For more information and to register for the camp go here.
