Today is a six-song EP that features driving pop-rock instrumentation over which Haley sings with the voice of a man that's been blessed with the opportunity to continue creating music and more importantly than that, living. You certainly get that feeling with this project's title track, where Haley asserts, "It's time for a change." He later adds, "It's time for some faith/And it starts today." When your future is nearly vanquished right before your eyes, you no longer take for granted the gift of life. Haley knows tomorrow is not promised, so his future starts not tomorrow, but today.
