There is a cinematic quality to many of these tracks. It's as though simplistic pop songs just do not suffice when it comes to what this act intends to say through its music. The vocals are a little spacey, and just a tad off kilter. But not it a bad way. Instead, they're dreamy and imaginative. The songs are rock & roll, but in an ELO-y way in that they're much more expansive than your typical rock song. They also sound far more European, and more specifically British, than anything American and blues-based.
Cryptoseismology is the kind of album that will enthrall and fascinate you for a long time. Put it on, and prepare for a mountain top experience. Learn more here.
