Anthrax and Adrenaline Mob cover the Black Sabbath era with versions of "Neon Knights" and "The Mob Rules" respectively while from the Rainbow era come tributes from Scorpions, Motorhead with Saxon's Biff Byford, Rob Halford and friends and most interestingly, a lengthy medley of "A Light in the Black"/"Tarot Woman"/"Stargazer"/"Kill the King" from Metallica.
Doro and Halestorm add the female perspective to the set, Tenacious D play it straight with a take on "The Last in Line" and Killswitch Engage offer their 2007 hit, a take on Ronnie's "Holy Diver."
More Holy Diver/The Last in Line era music comes from Corey Taylor of Slipknot/Stone Sour covering "Rainbow in the Dark" and Ronnie himself with the poignant song that gives the compilation its name, "This is Your Life."
